About this cabin rental
Nested in front of the Blue Ridge national forest, and above the Toccoa River, this cabin is the ultimate escape from the hustle of any large city. The American Indian décor, relaxing porch/balcony and river front make for a relaxing getaway. The cabin is an easy drive to the town of Blue Ridge (20 min) & Dahlonega (30 min), and near the Appalachian Trail (10 min). The Fish Hatchery is only 4 miles up the road, and there are plenty of hiking trails near by as well as waterfalls to see.
Cabin sleeps 8, comfortably. 2 Queen size beds, 2 Twin size beds and 1 Queen size comfortable sofa bed. Cabin includes a large canoe & floating tubes, outdoors grill and an outdoors fire pit, a swing, washer & drier, VCR and plenty of movies, puzzles & games for the entire family.
Go fishing, swim, hike, canoe, grill out, read, or just sit on the porch & take in the sound of the river & the birds. You will feel refreshed and relaxed as you enjoy God's country.
All you need to bring is your food. We provide everything else. Relax, enjoy & decompress!!
Please do not take decorations off the walls and keep children from playing on the furniture. Neither the décor or furnishings are to be used as toys. It is also important that you conserve water. A well supplies water to all the cabins on the same road. No baths, car washes or excessive water use are recommended as they can drain the well from water. The water is safe for drinking, however you are welcomed to bring bottled water, if you choose.

The cabin was very cozy and had everything we needed. Clean an very spacious. Host checked in to make sure we got in ok. All in all had a great time. We will try to come back.

THERE IS WIFI; GET BEER BEFORE ARRIVAL (30+ min drive otherwise. None at DG or Gas Station). With that out of the way, my wife and I found this cabin to be an absolute treat. It's quiet and away from everything. We made use of the fire and coal pit for cooking and, navigating the steep descent on the stairs, spent a few hours down near the river. The cabin itself is spotless and well maintained. Some of the decorations are interesting, but it doesn't detract from the overall quality of the home. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, utensils, and cookware. You have options of grilling on quality propane or a charcoal pit. Make sure you bring charcoal and starter fluid. If my wife and I ever find ourselves in Blue Ridge again, we would happily stay here again and maybe even bring some friends next time!
