1163 Milroy Grose Road, Lansing, WV 25862 Cabin #6 is a wonderful vacation rental. It is owner designed and built. All timber frame and wood. Entrance by the Hot Tub. You come into a little entrance way and then into the living room. It has a wood burning fireplace, to the left is a bedroom with a queen size bed. A full bath is right off the living room also. Round the corner into the kitchen with a small bar with 4 chairs. It is an open floor plan into the dining room with a big oak table. All of our furniture is handmade out of oak. Then around to a sitting room with another tv, so you can bring along your game machines. Another full bath and 2 more queen bedrooms. Up the stairs, we have another little socializing area with a sleeper sofa and an oak coffee table. Behind a small wall are 3 more queen size beds. We have some beautiful oil paintings my late mother painted plus a beautiful piece of wood art. It is something out of this world. You just have to see it for yourself. It is called intarsia-the ancient art of inlaying wood. Kinda like a big wooden puzzle. This artwork was done by an old West Virginia boy named Thomas Pignato.
Outside we have a charcoal grill and a large hot tub. Beyond that we have a nice big firepit and a horseshoe pit. This vacation home has lots of parking. We are conveniently located 1 ½ miles from the New River Gorge Bridge.

One of the best cabins we ever stayed in just cozy quiet lots of room large kitchen and dining room great host in communication . We are already planning ongoing back next year. To do the same thing again. Great place to stay quiet.Everything about it the pictures doesn't do justice

Cabin was super cozy. Hot water was great. Loved the hot tub and fire pit. 10/10 reccomend for large groups.

This was the perfect cabin for our family. Off the highway and easy to get to. Very spacious. Hot tub was the perfect temp at all times. Very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the fire pit both nights and were very thankful for the firewood that was there for us to use.

Great location. Cabin was spacious. Great set up for a group. Very clean. Had to reduce one star because of minor things that would normally make a stay feel like that 5-star amazing. Construction was going on the main entrance and had to use a stair entrance. This was communicated so not a problem, except that that entrance is steep and the outside light was not working at that door. Arriving in the dark and carrying in our stuff was dangerous. Also, the hot tub was not heated on arrival, so only able to enjoy it one of the two nights. Kitchen was supposed to be stocked but there was not enough glasses/mugs etc to accommodate the group that the cabin is supposed to accommodate. We cook, and most of the small appliances were in disrepair (can opener, blender, etc). Updating the “stocked” kitchen, having salt/pepper on hand, etc is what I usually have when staying in a cabin of this price range. It’s the little things that make the stay elevate to the most enjoyable. No one wants to run out for a can opener and salt mid cooking. (Also just a side note that string lights at the hot tub would make it so much nicer).
