Oh what a beautiful property! The decorations were not the popular farmhouse style and were unique and very welcoming and comforting. It was obvious that effort was put into every space! The screened porch was fabulous and the walk to the dock was so pretty! We loved the cottage but were disappointed that it does not have a bathroom available so one must make a short walk to the house. That is only

We had the most wonderful few days at this peaceful and lovely retreat!

Our daughter and SIL stayed with us for the weekend but we were here all week. This was a comfortable place for the 4 of us. The jack and Jill bath made it easy to find an unoccupied toilet. The kitchen is spacious and had all of the equipment we needed. We made s’mores on the fire pit and chilled by the lake and cooked steaks in the grill. We sat in the swinging chair in the sun room to watch boats passing on the main channel. We enjoyed hiking at Oachita State Park and went twice to Garvan Gardens-once to view the gardens and once to hike the nature preserve. Definitely worth going to any time if the year!Thanks for a lovely stay!
