The lake level is lowered by 3-5 feet on or around Nov 1st and raised to normal level on or around Mar 15th each year.

We really enjoyed our 2 day stay at this property! The house was better than pictured, we had everything that we needed to cook our meals and the screened in porch was great as it was a rainy weekend. One couple stayed down the hill in the cottage. It is just beautiful and right on the lake. The other two bedrooms are in the main house. The gourmet coffee is really a nice touch. The young adults had a great time with the game machine and hope that their high score lasts :) We thought that we accidentally left an item and the host was kind enough to let us back in to look. Overall we had just an exceptional time and we would highly recommend this property!

The home was great! It was a secluded, in a beautiful area. A little far from downtown Hot Springs. The separate bedroom was not used because it didn't have a bathroom and I didn't want to have to leave a door unlocked in case my kids needed a restroom in the night. Excellent amenities and everything was provided!

Much fun was had the porch was the perfect rainy day resting spot. Cooking was easy and the boat dock was perfect.

Our daughter and SIL stayed with us for the weekend but we were here all week. This was a comfortable place for the 4 of us. The jack and Jill bath made it easy to find an unoccupied toilet. The kitchen is spacious and had all of the equipment we needed. We made s’mores on the fire pit and chilled by the lake and cooked steaks in the grill. We sat in the swinging chair in the sun room to watch boats passing on the main channel. We enjoyed hiking at Oachita State Park and went twice to Garvan Gardens-once to view the gardens and once to hike the nature preserve. Definitely worth going to any time if the year!Thanks for a lovely stay!
