Waterstone Cottage - Escape to the Mountains!

Very cute cabin in a beautiful area. My family enjoyed the fishing pond and creek! The cabin has everything we needed to enjoy our stay!

We spent a long weekend enjoying the cabin and cycling on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Awesome place! Wonderful host.

This property was so beautiful and unique. Everything inside and out was conducive to relaxing. It sounds cliche to say it felt like home but it truly did.

My wife and I spent our anniversary vacationing near Asheville, NC and absolutely loved the Cottage. It has the perfect blend of Rustic and Modern that my wife and I adored. The location was absolutely perfect: Scenic, quiet and comforting with just the sound of nature around us both. Travel to Asheville and other neighboring towns isn't a hassle either, plus some of the Local Restaurants like Kornerstone Cafe and Jukebox Junction are amazing. A wonderful experience overall, would definitely recommend!

This was an awesome cabin. The property manager was awesome and very helpful. House was very clean, smelled nice, cozy cabin. Lots of activities for my husband and kids to do outside horseshoes, fishing, tiki toss, Cornhole just to name a few. Nice out door building with fireplace and picnic tables. Overall this is a place we plan to come back to in the near future!

Great VRBO experience. Cheryl and Brenda were wonderful to deal with and very accommodating. The cabin itself was clean and comfortable and the outdoor spaces were beautiful. They even went so far as to have the firewood stacked and paper/kindling ready in the outdoor fireplace where all we needed to do was light it. Great location and central from anywhere you want to go, whether to Waynesville, Sylva, hiking, airport, and Asheville. Great experience and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

My husband and I had a little weekend getaway with our two small children. This place was absolutely perfect for us. Plenty of space inside and out. We can’t wait to come again.

Everything was awesome. Property was well kept and the living quarters were clean. The location was perfect for everything we had planned to do. Very relaxing environment. The outdoor pavilion was very enjoyable but the wood for the fireplace was not quite seasoned fully so it was hard to get a fire to stay lit. Would love to stay again sometime and definitely recommend to others.

We plan on coming out here often. Such a great place to stay. We’ll be back soon!!!

This little cabin was the getaway we needed. We loved it!

The covered pavilion with fireplace by the pond was very relaxing. We were serenaded by a bull frog every evening.

This is where you will find it. Nestled in the woods is a beautiful property called Waterstone Cottage. It was everything we needed and much more. Location was perfect for all events that kids wanted to do and it was heaven on earth for us adults. If you are looking for a place that is off the beaten path and away from the lights and noise of our society, look no further. Mrs, Brenda provided everything so don’t bother with worry. She has you covered! Highly recommended! 🙂

This place was great. The location was perfect and the cabin was so neat and well kept. The owners thought of everything. They even thought of putting nightlights so I was able to see my way to the bathroom. I brought some things that I didn’t even need because they had them. I mean everything. My kids are all grown but there was a room specifically for a younger child. All the TVs have a fire stick. The fire outside is great and there are games to play. I highly recommend this place. It felt like a home away from home.

Wonderful cabin in the middle of a beautiful area. Only 15 mins to Shining Rock Wilderness. Brenda was so friendly and communicative. Everything I was hoping for. Highly recommended!

Wonderful property manager quick response. Older cabin with lots of character, fantastic outdoor spaces great for small children and families. Small kitchen but most well stocked and organized of any VRBO we've stayed in.Comfortable beds.Would definitely rent again very peaceful setting.

Adorable getaway near a creek with great outdoor spaces. Perfect for people that like rustic. We had fun with campfires, fishing in the pond, rocking on the porch and playing in the nearby creek. This cabin is stocked with everything you could want or need. It did have a musty smell but may just need airing out or a dehumidifier. Very clean, comfy beds, and plenty of cookware for all our meals. Overall a great secluded getaway where we could relax outside.

We really enjoyed the stay. Very rustic but clean. Would recommend it to friends.

We enjoyed our week getaway. Loved sitting out back at the picnic area making s’mores while my daughter painted rocks she collected at the waterfall we hiked in the area, she even left some around outside. My daughter loved watching the fireflies. Very quiet and peaceful., yet not far from Asheville. Would definitely comeback next year. Brenda was very attentive when I texted her. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed.

Property was nice, we enjoyed the horseshoes, tiki ring toss, and the outdoor fireplace area immensly, kids and adults both loved it, property is nice and tucked away with a creek across the street, its very nice to hang out on the porch and listen to the sound of the water rushing, and the beds in the house were very comfortable, felt like we were sleeping on a cloud, cabin had everything we needed, great experiance over all, would definitely do it again.

Loved everything about the cabin and location. Sorta remote, but close enough to every thing, Ashville a short drive and plenty of hiking choices. Close to several quaint villages that were fun to discover. Would love to stay there again!

We had such a wonderful time at water stone cottage. The cottage was more than expected which was such a great treat! We loved everything about this cottage, the furniture, the layout, downright to the privacy of the bathroom! Such charm, and so cozy! The pictures do not do it justice!! My only complaint is we couldn’t stay longer! Love, love, love it! My companion and I and our friend stayed, we all had plenty of room and privacy and space! We hope to return! Thank you so much!

great relaxing weekend, cabin was fabulous and just the right distance from everything not to close not to far away perfect. my only complaint is the television situation with the Amazon firestick,but then again thats part of the charm. Brenda we are coming back...lol

Staying at the cottage was an absolute delight! It had a very warm, welcoming feeling, with little accents and touches of home. Was surprised by the mountains surrounding the cottage and how beautiful they were. I had read about the creek across the street, but had no idea how large or beautiful it was. You can hear it as soon as you walk out the door! The outdoor picnic area with the huge fire place was amazing and one of my favorite parts. They supplied an abundance of fire wood for both the inside and outside fire places!! Definitely a place I will go back to again!

This was our first time using a by owner vacation rental so I did not know what to except. The process could not have been easier. Brenda was very responsive to every question I had. Check in was super easy. The house is in outstanding condition for being built in the 1930s. The owners have every amenity you could want in the house. The kitchen is well stocked (even has a keurig and crock pot, both of which we used) The appliances are all new and the kitchen and bathroom have been recently remodeled. The dining room table is very large and easily seats 8. The beds are extremely comfortable as is the other furniture in the house. The Wifi worked well for the kids to watch netflix on the provided streaming stick. (there is one in each room!) The huge bonus was the picnic pavilion. There is lots of seating, 2 picnic tables and a propane patio heater. We made a fire out there the second night so the kids could make s'mores and it was amazing. The area is a bit far from town (~25 minutes) we knew this ahead of time and went shopping on our way in. The area is beautiful and quiet however, well worth the drive. We will definitely stay here next time we visit the Canton area! Thanks for sharing your home with us. :)
