Coorg Homeland Homestay -With Kitchenette

From the very beginning, our journey to Coorg was filled with warmth, unexpected gestures of hospitality, and a strong sense of homeliness. We travelled overnight via Srisugam bus and reached the Coorg bus stand around 5:00 AM, greeted by heavy rain and pitch-dark skies. What truly stood out was the attentiveness of our homestay host, Mr. Pavan, who had been in touch with us since the previous evening, ensuring everything was going smoothly. With no autos available at that early hour, we messaged him—and to our surprise, he personally came in his jeep to pick us up. That moment, driving through the rain in complete darkness to the homestay, gave us a sense of how much he genuinely cared for his guests. Upon arrival, he offered us a choice between a 1 BHK upstairs and a 2 BHK unit downstairs with a full kitchen setup. We opted for the 2 BHK, which felt cozy, spacious, and ideal for a family stay. The rooms were neatly maintained, and we appreciated the home-like setting, which made us feel instantly comfortable. It was perfect for those who enjoy cooking or spending quiet time with loved ones. One special touch that made our stay memorable was when Pavan offered us homemade wine—rich, strong, and incredibly flavorful, priced reasonably at just ₹350. A real treat for wine lovers! He also went out of his way to help us with bike rentals and was always available with his jeep for any kind of assistance. Bed Comfort: The bed in one of the rooms was too soft and uneven, which led to mild back pain. Limited Welcome Amenities: A few small additions like tea/coffee/sugar kits would enhance the stay.

The care taker / owner is so co- operative and property was very cozy,with relaxing ambient . The owner has a golden heart ,He picked me up from the bus stand and also was with as the best guide.. Awesome experience ,I would strongly recommend this property . The best home stay experience.

The place was clean with lots of artificial flowers around.

The attitude of the old lady in charge.She was something before checking in and something else before checking out. The check out time in the booking was 11.30 am. But she insisted that we check out at 10 am. When I said it was 10 minutes past 10,she insisted that we check out at 11 am. And she says she was surprised to see us still there in the premises and not have checked out. She is a plain greedy old woman. I'm from Bangalore and I could have given her a peice of my mind. But I abstained from doing so.
