We just love love love Colombiao do Momo. It is the 2nd time we have stayed here (and other family have stayed here as well). The house is beautiful and also very comfortable. It's perfect for a family holiday. The new addition of the pool was fabulous. We love the little village of Montisi. I am sure we will be back for another stay. Thank you Momo !

Ideal setting for day trips to Siena, Pienza, Montipulciano, etc. Fully equipped kitchen for practicing what you learned in cooking classes. A hidden gem outside a small town that gives you a peek at day-to-day life in the country. Gorgeous setting among the olive trees with views of Mount Amiata. Knowledgeable host who goes out of his way to make you feel you are the most important visitor ever. Have been visiting since 1996 and each visit is better than the last!

Stayed for a week with friends and family in mid-May, six of us in total. Beautiful private location on a south facing hill, looking over gorgeous landscape. The house is big and airy, simple and rustic, but with everything you need. Well-equipped kitchen, big bedrooms with plenty of privacy. No TV, good WiFi. Surrounded by beautiful gardens brilliantly maintained by Momo, who is the perfect host. Lots of places to eat outside, watch the sunset and generally chill. Small pool which is great for cooling off. Birds, flowers, olives, stars, magic.

Three couples from the USA and Canada spent 2 weeks at beautiful Colombiao di Momo. From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found a little piece of heaven in Tuscany. It proved to be a fantastic vacation with memories made that will last a life-time.The home is beautiful and comfortable, filled with lots of old-world charm with all the benefits of modern amenities in the kitchen and bathrooms. It is well-equipped and lovingly cared for. There are many wonderful touches like shelves filled with books and a kitchen fully equipped with everything you need to cook a Tuscan feast. We spent many hours outside on one of the three terraces enjoying the breathtaking views in every direction. It is extremely private, but yet just a short 10 minute walk to the lovely, quaint village of Montisi. We enjoyed walking into the village to shop at the small grocery and bakery or to pick up a cappuccino at Il Barrino. Our favorite restaurants were Il Barrino (upstairs from the bar) and Ristorante Ritorno di Fiamma...fantastic dining experiences. We loved spending quiet, peaceful days at Colombiao di Momo. However, it's also the perfect location for days you want to adventure out to other small charming hill towns with good restaurants, wineries and much to see. And to top if off, Michael (Momo) is an exceptional host and wonderful person. We booked a year in advance and Michael was always helpful, quick to respond and happy to answer a multitude of questions. Michael gave us a warm welcome upon arrival and after two weeks we felt we had made a new friend. We had an issue with our rental van and he went above and beyond to help us find a solution. Michael is an amazing host. This home comes with our highest recommendation.
