This extremely charming 1200 square foot vacation rental home sits at the end of a mile-long driveway that cuts through 100 acres of pasture land. The guest house features a tastefully decorated master bedroom, living room, library and kitchen with a loft containing two additional beds and sitting area with tv and DVD player. Outside you have a porch and two decks to enjoy the views
Watch deer and horses grazing in a nearby pastures. Take a lovely walk around the ranch or simply kick back and enjoy the serenity. After unwinding, take advantage of some of the country's best mountain biking and hiking trails, white water rafting, fishing or one of Durango's exceptional dining experiences. My family and I had a wonderful experience at the ranch. The cabin was very cozy, clean and quiet.While we were here. We visited Mesa Verde National Park, traveled to Silverton via the Durango to Silverton Narrow Gauge Railway and relaxed at Lake Nighthorse. I highly recommend all these locations.Francie was a great host. We’ll miss the dogs, horses and the star-filled night skies.

Clean and friendly place to stay. Loved the book shelf. Beautiful setting on the horse ranch and we saw a lovely sunset. Good instructions on how to find the house and get in the gate. Good communication on how to use the critter buzzer, Note on fridge about the water that said “I understand it’s safe to drink” made me a bit nervous without saying something like “I know it’s safe”. Small ac in one bedroom with lots of fans, but still was a little too warm for comfort up in the loft sleeping area on a warm summer night.

it was ok - kitchen utensils old, but mostly owner was non-commicattive. No mention that food and restaurants were so far sway
