Dimora Acanto

The property was beautiful and as depicted on the website. We took advantage of the outdoor courtyard and washing machine. There was enough room for our family of four and made for the perfect location for our holiday in Bari. The owner was responsive to our needs.

Good position. Old fashion, modern refurbished building.

Bari is an underrated city. I suspect most visitors are passing through, to catch a ferry, say, or on a tour of Puglia. But there’s plenty to occupy you for at least a few days and certainly if you stay off season you can experience Italian life as lived by residents rather than as a tourist. It’s a university town so the bars are full of young people and in the restaurants you’ll be surrounded by locals. The property itself with its grand hall is conveniently situated near the station and everywhere is walkable. There are frequent trains to the airport and the journey only takes about half an hour.

Nothing. A huge thank you to our hosts who allowed us to check in early and check out late to fit with our Ryanair flights.

Lovely and accommodative hostess. The place is in a stunning building. There's a garden space which you can enjoy and all you might need from the accommodation. We even got a lovely gift from the owners. It's convenient for the train station, which is good if you plan travelling around. There are shops and cafes around.

We had some issue with hot water but I believe it was temporary issue.
