About this house rental
Welcome to the beautiful gated community of Hermosa Palms! Our home is close to the pool, super clean and modern. Brand new split air conditioning throughout , great lay out, with 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, fully stocked kitchen with blender, coffee grinder, spices and all the necessities to cook a gourmet meal. We also have a smart tv and WIFI/Internet. All the beds are pillow top mattresses and very comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need.
Hermosa Palms is a very safe, gate-guarded, beautiful community, located 10 minutes from the town of Jaco and 1.5 hours from the San Jose International Airport. Our home has one of the best locations in the neighborhood. It is located behind the beachfront pool/ocean, with only one house between. It is close to the
pool and NOT located on the back road. The surf is great year round and not crowded. Enjoy taking a stroll down the exotic black sand beach filled with interesting seashells. Hermosa Beach is known for its turtle nesting. Sometimes you can participate in releasing the newly hatched turtles to the sea. The beachfront pool is resort style-without the crowds. Enjoy delicious food and drinks at YoYo's poolside restaurant. Also, Hermosa Palms has a coffee/dessert bar, surf and boogie board rental spot and a place to have massages and/or facials. You will frequently see the beautiful scarlet macaws fly over and stop in the treetops above the pool.
Playa Hermosa and the surrounding towns have plenty to do. Crocodile tours, horseback riding, canopy tours, rainforests, mangrove monkey tours, shopping, etc. Playa Hermosa has some great little restaurants with fresh fish, sushi, delicious smoothies, and much more..

Perfect location. Close enough to Jaco, but not in Jaco. Very quite area with a lovely beach within a 3 minute walk.
Great bar and restaurant which is owned and operated by a wonderful woman Yoyo. Fresh, handmade food!
The surf here is not for beginners. The waves are pretty large and the current is strong. However, you can be at any number of surf schools on Jaco Beach within 15 minutes. I recommend the team at the Surf Factory. My wife and both kids were first time surfers and they all were standing within minutes and kept asking to surf more each day.
This is a great location for doing trips for Zip lining, surfing, Park tours...
The house is great. Comfy beds. Plenty of towels and a nice kitchen. Perfect vacation home! Kristin was super responsive!

The house is super well maintained, well furbished, comfortable and well located in a nice private gated community. Great beach, great sunset and nice pool. Would return anytime!
