Like it says, the place is walking distance from Central Station; it took us maybe about 15-20 minutes. If you don't have suitcases, I'm sure it would be a lot faster -:). The place is spacious enough for our family. It has everything we needed. Communications with the host was smooth. We will stay there again if given another chance to visit Naples.

A nice, clean and spacious apartment situated about a 15 minute walk from the Garibaldi station where you can either take the metro or train to pretty much anywhere around Naples. Positives: - Very spacious apartment with a rather large dining table. - The beds were very comfortable with large blankets and comfy pillows. - One of the bedrooms was well lit even with natural lighting. - Both bedrooms feature an AC. - The building has an elevator that takes you right to the apartment door. - Three towels per person. - Very friendly host.

Noise at night. Naples itself at night is definitely very lively, so expect hearing lots of bikers even through closed windows. Unfortunately, even the neighbors in the apartment building were very noisy (it sounded like they were having a skipping rope and running competition every night around midnight), but I've been told that maybe the host is able to do something about it. Definitely expect to be woken up every morning at 7 AM on the dot as there is a church right next to the apartment building and the bells are absolutely ruthless and go off every 30 minutes. Even with the window closed and a pillow over my head, I couldn't sleep through it. Nitpicks: - Almost no natural lighting in one of the bedrooms and the ceiling light was flickering a lot (visible 50 Hz headache inducing flicker). - One of the bedrooms is right next to the bathroom and the drain pipes are very loud. - No drying racks for towels in the bathroom/elsewhere, only one hook right next to the shower. - Hot water was very low pressure and took a long time to start flowing. - No hot water connected to the bidet. - No kitchen towels. - No kettle. - No microwave. - The kitchenware, especially the pans, are pretty worn down. - The gate to the apartment building is a very heavy metal door that makes a deafening bang whenever opened or closed (I guess the locals are used to it - and yes, they slam it even long after midnight).
