This is a unique opportunity to experience an Inverness cottage of your own. It is located on six acres stretching along the beginning of Tomales Bay. Enjoy gardens, flowers, orchard, marshes and year-round creek. There is an abundant variety of birds and wildlife.
Tomales Bay is at your back door, providing endless vistas of beauty and interest. Enjoy the ever-changing flow of water and quality of light. As the tide rises, take in the reflection of sky and rolling hills from the opposite shore, or the full moon rising over Black Mountain. The views are expansive.
As the tide recedes, watch for the variety of birds foraging for food along the shore, or footprints of deer as they move through the area. You may enjoy the view from the living room, outdoor deck, or sitting at the edge of the bay.
The cottage is approximately 3 miles from the Point Reyes National Seashore visitor Center, and just 2 miles from the town of Inverness.

It's a sweet, comfy little cottage with a long view towards the bay and the coastal foothills. Very relaxing. We had everything we needed in a rental and the owner is very responsive.

Louise offers a bright and cheery home with lovely warm wood details and creative touches, gorgeous views of the estuary at the foot of Tomales Bay and a well stocked, organized kitchen with everything you need. The flowers and birds outside are a constant delight as we had both bluebirds and swallows in the nestboxes feeding their young during our stay. Furniture and lighting really worked for our reading and scrabble playing, too. The bed is super comfy and through the skylight you can see the wonders of the nighttime sky. We'll definately be back! Charming, cozy and perfect for a relaxing weekend. Wonderful views of Tomales Bay. Comfortable and well-furnished spot for a couple. We loved it.
