Blowing Rock's coveted 'Olde English' on Gideon Ridge Rd. is a family home where you can reconnect with loved ones, sit on the deck and just lose yourself in starring at the long range mountain views. You will want to stay here for its Blowing Rock location and old world charm. Not many homes available in the vacation rental marketplace can say that.
This is an recently remodeled classic home that was custom built. The living room has high vaulted ceilings with amazing chandeliers and captivates the view as well. With a bar for easy entertaining Outdoor furniture allow for meandering the appetizers with ease from inside to outside! The gourmet kitchen enjoys a large built in table for those awesome get togethers and a fireplace. The home is approximately 4400 sq feet and everyone can enjoy being in their own space and not on top of each other and is so amazing for family and friends and golf groups to enjoy a full family room and game table on the lower level

Incredible property overlooking Grandfather mountain. Plenty of room for our group of 7. Really nice that each bedroom had a bathroom and house was well stocked with general essentials. Sunset views were worth the stay

I was not organized for this trip but a late call to Shanaaz got us to the property, the cabin was so roomy with great views, and she offered a late check out which honestly saved our Sunday. Highly recommend and would stay again.

The booking experience was very crisp with VRBO. I was immediately contacted by Shanaaz who walked me through the next steps and provided a ton of great tips.
The property itself was fabulous very close to most attractions in Boone. The house was massive with well appointed rooms. A lot of things for everyone to enjoy and do. The owners had stocked up on various stuff in plenty
There was enough room for kids to do their thing while adults had their own banter. The view of grandfather mountain profile was great. Would definitely return here

cabin has very nice views, great sleeping arrangements, cozy wood burning fireplaces and well equipped. However, driveway is extremely difficult, water pressure in kitchen was bad, master bed was uncomfortable and very basic, kitchen stools were unstable, some broken lamp globes and lightbulbs, some things were not very clean (bath rugs, kitchen pendants, stairs,) some litter leftover from new years eve party ...
