We loved our stay and were pleasantly surprised that the space is bigger than it looks in photos. Highly recommended!

The guesthouse is well situated for privacy, and the neighborhood is very quiet. The room is clean and organized, and there were labels and notes on things to help direct you (i.e. what switch went to what light, etc.). The mini kitchenette has everything you need to make meals. The bathroom is generous in size and has a large shower. We never saw the owner, but his dog greeted us. The room has concrete floors, which means it was very cold despite the rugs, and though we turned the heater thermostat up to 73-75, it was only able to take the chill off, but we were freezing and had to wear our coats inside. We tried to play some dinner music via the provided sound system that hooks up to a phone, but the speaker cracks, buzzes and loses sound completely off and on - if you jiggle the cord the sound will come back on, but who wants to keep doing that? So we gave up on the dinner music. The internet TV was a joke, taking 30 seconds to do anything: turn on, change channels/apps, and would switch off right in the middle of watching TV like it was rebooting all the time. So we gave up on the TV and went to bed. While the room was cold, the bed felt like a memory foam so was not breathable and hence uncomfortably hot, so we kept having to take the covers off, but then freeze in the cold air. The pillows are flat, and sound like they have plastic covers, so every move you make creates a loud crinkling sound that will wake you up. Needless to say we didn't sleep well, waking up throughout the night. By 3:30 AM we had enough and just got up and started getting ready for the day, and left 2 hours earlier than planned. The shower has very little water pressure, I couldn't get all my shampoo rinsed out, truly, my hair felt/looked grimy afterward. The shower head looks either old or mucked up with mineral buildup, I couldn't decide which, so maybe that's the reason for the poor water pressure, (but the kitchen and vanity faucets both had great water pressure), so maybe the shower head just needs replacing? Over all, it served it's purpose as a clean and quiet place to rest for the night, and the mini kitchen was definitely a bonus, but with that said, I feel the nightly rate is a bit overpriced.
