Jeevan Homestay & Ayurvedic Yoga Retreat

We stayed at Jeevan Homestay & Ayurvedic Yoga Retreat for three nights with a group of 12 adults to celebrate my father’s 80th birthday, and it was truly a memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, Host Jeevan was incredibly welcoming and accommodating — he ensured that everything ran smoothly for our large group and went out of his way to make our stay special. The entire team was warm and attentive, with a special shout-out to Renjith for his exceptional service and friendliness throughout our stay. The property itself is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and set in a lovely garden atmosphere that was perfect for relaxing together as a family. Many guests have commented on how idyllic and serene the location is, tucked away from busy tourist areas yet still close to the beach — a quiet and restorative escape.  Our rooms were comfortable, clean, and well equipped, and the food, especially the home-cooked Kerala meals, was delicious, which several previous guests have also highlighted.  The garden and pool area provided lovely spots to sit and unwind in. Overall, this was a wonderful family stay. The blend of warm service, tranquil setting, and quality food made our celebration even more special. We would highly recommend this retreat to anyone looking for a peaceful and hospitable stay in Kovalam.

The hotel turned out to be even better than we expected. Very calm, lovely rooms, beautiful location, very kind and considerate staff. Delicious food, friendly chefs.We really calmed down and relaxed. I asked an Ayurvedic doctor to recommend treatments suitable for my husband and me. The doctor advised me something new, something that helped me perfectly. I highly recommend it. Special thanks to the wonderful, delicate family that owns this hotel. It's a pleasure to communicate with them)

The staff. Clean and nice facilities. Problaly quite new

Upon check out the manager wanted 5 pct extra for paying with creditcard. We have not experienced that other places in India. It gave a bit negativr impression at the end of our stay (which was 4 nights) There was only one umbrella at the pool for making shade, so all us foreigners wanted that place. 2 more umbrellas is recommendable and should be easy to fullfill.
