Welcome to elegant island living at The Palms! This beautiful 6th-floor end unit offers an over-sized wrap-around balcony with breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico. The Palms is ideally situated just a few blocks from three large grocery stores, four pharmacies, an ABC store, restaurants, movie rentals, spas, and shopping. The nearby Tanger Outlet Mall provides excellent retail therapy with over 120 brand-name stores for those occasional rainy afternoons. Enjoy a dolphin cruise at The Wharf, which also features an amphitheater for regular concerts, more shopping, and a movie theater. Perdido Pass offers a new area for fishermen, and there are marinas, glass-bottom boats, chartered deep-sea fishing, golf courses, and amusement parks just a short drive away.

The Palms offers fantastic amenities, including a fitness room equipped with a treadmill, weight equipment, a stair machine, and a flat-screen TV. After your workout, reward yourself with a relaxing dry sauna. Elevated, lighted tennis courts are available above the covered parking area, and there is an area for grilling steaks and fish. For those with their own boat, convenient accommodations are available directly across the street. Two elevators take you down to the outdoor pool overlooking the beach, or the indoor heated pool, both equipped with restrooms. Private boardwalks lead to one of the largest beach areas on the coast, where you can rent umbrellas and padded lounge chairs, and outdoor showers are located at each boardwalk for rinsing off the sand.

This spacious 3-bedroom, 3-bath unit, with approximately 1400 sq. ft., has been recently renovated and redecorated. It features nine-foot ceilings and tiled flooring throughout, with area carpeting. The unit includes a spacious living room, dining area, fully equipped kitchen, and a large balcony. The living room has a full view of the beach and Gulf, with a sofa, love seat, sitting area, and a brand-new flat-screen TV and DVD player. The dining area features a full-size dining table with comfortable upholstered dining chairs seating 8-10, along with additional seating on the balcony. The fully equipped kitchen includes a microwave, oven, dishwasher, disposal, refrigerator with an ice maker, toaster, coffee maker, waffle iron, blender, can opener, dishes, cookware, glasses, and utensils. There's also a bar area with stools, a full-size washer and dryer, and a full-size ironing board and iron. The unit is equipped with Wi-Fi and offers new flat-screen TVs and DVDs in each bedroom. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and a private bath with a large soaking tub. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed, and the third has two twin beds. All bedrooms have sliding glass doors to the balcony with a Gulf-front view, flat-screen TV, DVD player, and clock radio. Each of the three bathrooms is spacious and includes installed blow dryers. The huge Gulf-front balcony overlooks the beach and oceanfront pool and offers a large table and chairs along with several chaise lounges, perfect for enjoying the sights and sounds of the Gulf of Mexico.

For reservations during the Winter Season (January and February) made before October 1st, a minimum stay of 60 days (two months) is required. Reservations that don't meet this criterion are subject to cancellation by management. After October 1st, reservations for the winter months may be made for a minimum of three or seven nights, depending on unit specifications. This property is professionally managed by Poole & Associates.

Additional information: Parking passes are required and may be purchased upon arrival or by contacting the management office directly, with a maximum of two parking spaces available. Linens are provided, but guests are advised to bring their own beach towels. The reservation includes a "starter set" of hand soap, one roll of toilet tissue per bathroom, one trash bag per trash can, and one roll of paper towels.

Guests must be at least 25 years of age or older to rent this property, and photo ID is required at check-in. Smoking is not permitted, and pets are not allowed.

I could go on and on over this excellent place to stay! Our group of six felt completely comfortable and at home. We loved the gorgeous views, having three bathrooms, and truly felt like we had all of the amenities that we needed. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Check in and out was so easy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back in the future. Although very minor, if I could make any suggestions at all, it would be to upgrade the coffee pot to a Keurig.

Pros- Keyless entry so it was a breeze checking in. The condo has a nice set up, was very spacious, and a lovely view of the beach. We liked having a corner unit with a wrap around balcony. Each bedroom has access to the balcony which was also cool. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to enjoy cooking at the condo. It has an ice maker next to the dishwasher so don’t freak out when you don’t see an ice machine in the fridge. Note- the master shower Does in fact work. You have to pull the little piece that is at the bottom of the spout/faucet down to make the shower head spray water. Thank God my bf showed me how to use it bc you don’t wanna take a bath in that tub. It barely drains so you literally have to push all the sand towards the drain to get it out.Cons- The parking lot is smaller than most, they have additional parking ACROSS the street. Be prepared to pay an additional 76 if you need more than one parking pass and they don’t tell you this until a week before checkin. The biggest thing is the cleanliness upon arrival. One of the spare bedrooms had men’s boxers left in it and a waffle fry under the bed. The livingroom rug had fishing string, a bottle cap, and beads on it. Both shower curtains had mold/mildew on them. When first walking in it had a funny smell. We went and bought cleaning supplies to actually clean the place and washed the shower curtains. I’m sure the place was cleaner upon the maids arrived than our arrival.

Check in was easy, kitchen had everything you could ever need! The ice maker was a wonderful plus! The pillows on the porch could be updated, they were a bit stained from rain. But overall wonderful condo!

The property is in a great location with excellent views and access to the beach. However, the condo needs a deep cleaning and reorganization. We had to clean the kitchen, dishes, etc when we arrived. All the closets are being used to store paint, ladders, old pictures, extra bedding, and not much storage for your clothes. Needs attention from the cleaning staff!
