Makin Waves is located on the first floor of a privately owned home with its own private entrance. The only thing between Makin Waves and the beach are the sand dunes. The beach is only a short distance, approximately 3/4 of mile via access road 1-A. Everything Port Aransas has to offer is only minutes away, including the beach, ferry, marina, golf, shops and restaurants. We are just one block off 11th Street, near the intersection of Beach Access Road 1A. Close to everything!!
Our unit comfortably sleeps 4 guests, but can accommodate up to 6 guests with 1 bedroom & 1 bathroom. Makin Waves is perfect for a couple or small family. The master bedroom features a queen-sized bed with linens. The family room features 2 built-in twin bunk beds and a full-sized sofa sleeper.
We feature all the conveniences of home, including a fully equipped eat-in kitchen with all customary appliances, granite counter-tops with 4 bar-stools, washer/dryer, linens and towels for 6, spectrum cable and internet service, parking for two vehicles and a private patio facing the beautiful sand dunes.

This spot was perfect for our quick get away to the beach. Made for a nice walk to the beach in the morning. The sleep arrangements for our kids was easy with the sofa sleeper and bunk beds all in the same area. We will definitely book this spot again.

Will definitely stay here again! It was a great location--close to beach, close to everything in Port Aransas. Bed was comfortable, kitchen was well stocked. Loved that it was quiet yet close to everything.

Only complaint is the bedroom didn’t cool every well. But besides that it was a great stay!
