About this house rental
**5 day minimum stay required during June, July and August (peak season).
This large home has been updated, professionally decorated and is a pleasant getaway available year round. The great stretch of sand is located directly in front of the home and the near level elevation allows for gentle swimming in every direction. The lake is clean and clear and this particular parcel of land and swimming area allows for yards and yards of sandy, weed free swimming well beyond the dock. The swim raft is a really fun plus for the summer months.
The home features 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths and 1 half bath. It is kept meticulously clean by the owners who are smoke free. The large great room is perfect for curling up in by the fireplace and watching movies on rainy days, the sun room offers a cheerful vibe also facing the lake. The well equipped kitchen is open to all and is a great place to have conversation. There are two master bedroom spaces each with their own bathrooms.
This area of the lake is very secluded and private. The home is on a "dead end" road and has very little traffic coming and going.
Other special features are the luxurious mattresses provided along with all brand new furnishings and decor. Additionally, the garage has a great stainless steel fish cleaning station.
Responsible renters are welcome to use our kayak, paddle board, water bike, paddle boat and outdoor grill. There is also a ping pong table and cornhole (bean bag) game to use.
The following is provided to renters: most necessary kitchen utensils/dinnerware/cookware, toaster, coffee maker, crockpot, bed linens, bath linens, firewood, gas grill, paddleboard and paddle boat.
Docks are generally pulled onto lake side lawn and off the lake in October. Exact timing depends on weather. Additionally, the docks are put back in sometime in May depending on when the ice is off the lake. We have no control over the timeframe on that.
***We do have an OUTDOOR security camera on our property. Motion activated camera is located on the lakeside back doorbell and is intended to monitor our boats/docks/canopies in the lake.
***We pride ourselves on PERFECT accommodations for renters; however, Leech Lake typically has a Mayfly hatch for approximately 10 days mid to late June. This does somewhat effects the water quality and our normally pristine beach and outdoor areas. Anyone renting during this timeframe acknowledges this disclaimer.
*** Our home is pet free. Violation of pets on property will result in a $250 additional cleaning fee.
***This property is in the thick of Minnesota northern lake country. Insects, all nature related creatures and weather elements will surround you on our property. We believe it's part of the charm of our lake oasis. We can arrange additional outdoor cleaning/maintenance for sidewalks, beach and outdoor living areas during your stay for an additional fee if you put in this request.

We completely enjoyed our time while staying at this home. The comfortable sectional near the fireplace was perfect while we had conversations, built a puzzle and viewed the lake. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of pans, utensils and even spices. The beds were comfortable and the home was clean. This was a great place to stay and for our group, relax.

Perfect blend of northern cozy cabin getaway with updated bathrooms and appliances. Great attention to detail and thoughtfully stocked and prepared for guests. Timely and consistent communication with some minor questions before arrival. Start to finish, great rental and renters!
