Relax in this 2 bedroom bungalow in a quiet, gated, laid-back beach community on Playa Grande, Costa Rica - a local’s surf favorite, pristine sand of Las Baulas National Park, a leatherback turtle nesting site and national reserve.

The best, cutest casa near the beach. We had a great time and loved the accommodations. It was cozy and fully equipped for all our needs. We loved the property managers. The tight community made us feel safe. Outstanding!!

The villa is within easy walking distance to the beach and a couple of great restaurants. The beds are extremely large and comfortable, AC worked great (It was 35c when we were there so needed it for sure! Only rent a place with AC), and the kitchen is very well equipped (we did lots of cooking in the villa). We enjoyed the small pool and usually had it to ourselves which was nice. Just make sure you do a grocery shop before arriving at Playa Grande as the little markets in PG are VERY expensive. Out of the owner's control but It's Costa Rica, so expect some potential insects. We also were able to do an estuary tour that started just a 2 min walk away which was cool (Shawna organized it for us) and we took the boat over to Tamarindo one morning just to check it out. But PG beach was much quieter and Tamarindo was too busy for us. You can also easily do some trips to other beaches easily such as Playa Conchal which was beautiful. Shawna was very helpful and responded quickly to any of our questions.
