We booked for a family get away and this property did not disappoint! Full bathrooms for each bedroom and 2 half baths? Wow! Beautiful details including the bear theme, well stocked, organized kitchen, large table and couch. Based on previous reviews where people said the dock was falling apart, we found the dock to be rebuilt and beautiful. This place was perfect for us! Also need to give a shout out to the property managers. We had an issue with the kitchen sink and then the upstairs air conditioner. The Railey maintenance man was prompt, polite and addressed the issues. If we were to have another deep creek get away, I would definitely rebook! Thank you!

The house was perfect for our family getaway. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and Swallow Falls which was very close by. Loved the beverage refrigerators in both the kitchen and the downstairs rec room, they were so convenient. Hot tub was great, also!

We walked it to a few little things broken but nothing too major. was a very nice house. only downside to the whole house was the dock. it was in bad condition.

The communication with the property manager was a bit of a struggle. We arrived in the evening to find a pitch black house without power. The entire area was in a power outage (it happens, so no worries there), but the property manager didn’t tell us or give us a heads up whatsoever (even though the power had been out for hours). Additionally, the property manager called us 3-4 times about a prior guest leaving stuff behind, which was frustrating. Again, I don’t mind helping people out but asking me multiple times to take another guest’s package to the property manager’s office was unprofessional.
As for the house itself: it was nice, spacious and a great space for a guys weekend. However, the water smelled and tasted horribly so we ended up having to buy bottled water for the entire week we were there. They also didn’t provide hand soap, dish soap, paper towels, garbage bags, or toilet paper, so we had to go and buy all of those items, which was disappointing for a property that we paid $3k+ for the week. Basically this place was as bare bones as possible and didn’t provide any additional amenities save for furniture and dishes. That said, the internet was solid.
Bottom line: we enjoyed our week here, but would we book again? Probably not. If they actually provided basic items you’d expect from a rental property and the tap water was actually drinkable, then probably.
