About this villa rental
What we offer is a beautiful and spacious old stone house in the heart of the unspoiled Chianti countryside. It has been completely and caringly restored to a high standard and furnished with antique pieces belonging to the owners.
The view from the hilltop - over 600 meters - where the property stands, is truly breathtaking: olive trees, vineyards and forests dot the open hilly landscape, whilst Siena and its towers are visible in the far distance.
There are two terraces, of which one covered, fully equipped for al fresco dining (mobile barbecues provided). A lovely garden surrounds the entire house, enhancing the tranquility and privacy of the property. The secluded swimming pool is only a few steps away. The pool (not heated, usually open end May to end September) may be shared with guests staying at Il Diaccino (VRBO 654136) on the same property.
If more than ten guests wish to stay at the property a small detached unit for 2 (bedroom and bathroom - not individually let) across the courtyard can be additionally booked.
Both Siena and Florence, as well as charming hamlets, small towns and castles, with all their cultural and artistic attractions are easily reachable by car. The property is close to Gaiole in Chianti (5km) and Radda in Chianti (8km).
The owners are winemakers and live nearby in the main house of the property. They will personally greet their guests and are ready to assist and advise them at any time, to make their stay truly special and memorable.
Wine tastings and guided tours of cellar & vineyard are free for guests if desired. Upon request cooking classes recommendations are given.
Le Diacce is rented weekly Friday to Friday.
