THE FAMILY SKI HOUSE
Your family can walk to the slopes at their leisure and not depend on Mom and Dad to drive them to the mountain. Get up early and catch the powder or sleep in and ski late morning. Meet back at the house for a delicious fondue lunch! LOCATION-LOCATION-LOCATION. Free shuttle during the day will deliver you to the base mountain or back to the house. Can accommodate up to 12 people, so start planning your family ski vacation. In addition to the great room, private den for reading and relaxing. 6 bedrooms; 4 bathrooms.

Great spot! 2 minutes walk to the trail so while not quite "ski in - ski out" it's awfully close! Certainly close enough that you don't have to hassle with buses or parking!! Great open living/dining/kitchen space with fantastic view of the mountain, nice big fireplace, lots of separate spaces for big groups to do "their own thing" after a long day skiing. Very cool "retro vibe" -- it's exactly what you remembered about ski houses/weeks growing up (and yet) it has every convenience (modern kitchen with stainless, great wifi, streaming TV on a big screen). So....a perfect combo!! I highly recommend the place!!

This house is a great location just 2 houses from the Wanderer Trail. You can ski home for lunch or if someone wants to quit early they can just ski home. There also is a North Brookwood Rd shuttle that goes right up to West Ridge Rd and drops you at your door if you hang for apres ski and lifts have closed. No parking lots or getting on buses...just walk out your door. Its an open floor plan so even mom cooking dinner is part of the cozy warm fireside setting. The kitchen is updated with a lovely granite countertop, and stainless appliances. Grandparents can tag along as there are 2 twins, a queen and a bunk room on the main floor as well as the 2 kings on the second floor. Our non skiers loved taking walks, snow-shoeing or going to Manchester for shopping and lunch. They are also able to ride the shuttle to the Stratton base and meet the skiers for lunch. The owners are great to work with. I highly recommend this great family vacation rental.
