This is a great location in the South of Downtown area. This is the South Lamar district. Easy access to Austin Airport, Downtown Austin, Barton Springs, Zilker Park, shopping, music, and great food. Assigned parking. This is a great place to relax for business or a quick getaway for fun in Austin. Come enjoy the rental and all of the fun activities in Austin. Near Brown's BBQ, Maudie's, Trailer trucks on South Lamar, St. Edward's University.

The laundry room has two washers and two dryers but one washer was down and the signs led me to believe it has been out of service for a long time. The machines require quarters and there is no change machine. The laundry room is dimly lighted and the machines are dinghy. We took our laundry elsewhere. This property is quiet and is an excellent location. The off-street parking is great. We weren't able to use the TV in the bedroom... the signal was too slow but the TV in the living room is great! The mattress is extremely soft, kind of like reclining in a bowl of pudding. This property is an excellent value and the location is great for destinations in south Austin like Matt's El Rancho, Terry Black's BBQ, the Broken Spoke for live music, Sandy's Burgers, Barton Springs Pool, Zilker Park and Botanic Gardens.

The location was most beneficial for us. The bed and futon were both comfortable. The place was clean, but we were disappointed that it smelled of cigarette smoke. FYI - The bathroom door did not always stay shut. We had difficulty placing the cover on the lock box.

Adequate place to stay for a couple days. It is dated and needs some refreshing. Owner was very friendly and responsive.
