A romantic getaway or a fishing trip. Amazing property with beautiful trout stocked creek rushing through it. Enjoy the deck overlooking the creek or sit in the hot tub and relax. This is a truly peaceful place to relax and enjoy the outdoors.
Just min. away from Leatherwood riding stables. You can be shopping in Boone, Blowing Rock or heading to Tweetsie Railroad, or Linville caverns with 20 mins. Zipline or Gem Mining is also a favorite of our guests.
This creek is a Class A trout stocked creek.. The State stocks our creek each month from Mar-Aug. It is also listed as an 'Outstanding Resource of Water' by the State of NC.

Loved this quiet cabin. Me and the grandkids loved the cabin and creek. Hot tub was broken, but the owner offered us to use the one next door at his other cabin. That was amazing. I definitely recommend this cabin. One thing I would Do is add curtains on the back doors in the living room.

The cabin was great for our family of 4. My family really enjoyed playing in the creek. We didn’t catch any fish but it was still a lot of fun!

Our son enjoyed the creek in the backyard! The beds and room upstairs were pretty small, really better for small and young kids. Our son is 6’, and he had a hard time fitting upstairs. Would honestly be pretty cramped for 4 people (adults) it says they could fit. The location is really off the grid. Make sure you check yourself and your pets for ticks after going outside!!! It’s about 30 minutes to get pretty much anywhere, and the roads are super winding and can be difficult to navigate. If you plan on just hunkering down in the cabin then not a big deal. If you wanted to explore Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, etc. there are much closer options for the same price or less. The amenities were okay. It had a coffee pot; most places I stay at have Keurigs with available K-cups for use. Bring your own coffee!! The TV is also kind of old and only offered Direct TV. No streaming services or options to log in to your streaming platform on the TV. There was one game of Pictionary, so make sure you bring something for entertainment!! The hot tub was not working while we were there, and the gas line was leaking when we were there, so we couldn’t use hot water for one night/one morning until they could get someone to fix it the next day.
