Best Location!! 5 Minute Stroll To The Beach

The location was perfect and home was as cute as could be.

We loved being able to walk to nearby restaurants & the brewery, as well as the beach and King & Prince. It's a short drive south to the pier and north to Redfern Village areas (more restaurants). The owner was very responsive and helpful. Would stay there again!

Let me start by saying we had a WONDERFUL time and no issues at all during our stay! The building is older, but clean and maintained. There were 5 of us with a combination of adults, teen, and a child and this was perfect for our needs. I know it says it sleeps 8, but in my opinion that would have been a little tight. Checking in is easy. There is parking at the entrance that’s specifically for loading/unloading and an absolute God-send! There are bell carts available right past the elevator in a little alcove, but they are limited in numbers. This is a “first floor” but you do have to go up one floor to get to the unit. We had no issues with the operation of the elevator during our stay, however the best part is the buildings are connected so just hop over to building 2, and then walk across. Not the end of the world. This unit was located right next to the pool, pool bar, and little store which was super ideal for us. It’s pretty much families that were there and seemed more of a family style environment. So if you are looking for the frat party style resort, this one isn’t for you. It’s really quiet at night which we loved, especially having a little one. Please understand that it’s condos, so you will hear others, but it’s really not bad. Laundry facilities are located on 2nd and 4th floor. You WILL need these as the number of towels/washcloths is limited to about 2/person and with sand and things you will not want to reuse. The cost to wash/dry is $5 a load and they only take credit/debit, but it’s a pretty large capacity. Learned this after I dug for change and went to the laundry room. The best part was we could be at the pool and doing laundry at the same time since they were right there together. Beach access via the boardwalk is right outside this building as well. It’s a beautiful stroll in the evening and worth just taking in the sunset and all the aspects of the ecosystem. Even the teen was loving it. However, use the shuttle for when you are dragging beach gear. It runs pretty consistently. Coco’s was great! We recommend! Kitchen is well stocked with pretty much anything you need, but definitely a “one seater”. We did utilize it a good bit but it’s smaller and not many of us could be in there at the same time. Not a huge issue due to open floor plan. If you NEED a view, this isn’t for you. There is a lagoon view, but a partial wall, trees and other vegetation obstruct it. We didn’t mind. For the price point, it was fantastic!
