You will love this new 4,000 square foot custom built vacation home, which sits on one acre lake view lot with forest park land all around it. The views are from all sides of the house and are truly breathtaking. The house is just around the corner from the Nevada side of Heavenly Valley Ski Resort and just 5 minutes up the hill from the exciting South Lake Tahoe casinos. A Fine dining restaurant ' The Chart House is also closely located half way down the hill before the casinos for that special dining occasion or just plain casual relaxation. This home has it all! A large living room is open to a gourmet kitchen. This large entertainment area also have a pool table, a large wood burning fireplace, , and an entertainment center complete with digital cable, surround sound, and a DVD player. The house is also equipped with wireless broadband Internet access. You will truly enjoy the over-sized wrap-around decks off the main entertainment area and master bedroom which both have lake views.

In the master bedroom is its own get way with its own fireplace, a spa tub, an entertainment center, and its own private deck. There is another secluded deck with a large Jacuzzi tub and great view of the hillside and night time lights and a nice place to relax after a fun day of skiing or scenic hiking. We really enjoyed our stay. House was as advertised. Would recommend to list more on infant/young child things available. There were plenty of gates available for stairs and other places. Also Pack&Play & high chair was available. I may have missed some of these things in the house info, but we packed several things that we did not need. We would definitely highly consider this place again if headed to this area.

This house is conveniently located within an easy drive to South Lake Tahoe and has beautiful views across the street toward the lake and into mountainside out the back. The kitchen was well equipped - some of the better pots/pans/dishes I've experienced in rental houses. A couple of us enjoyed the hot tub, the grill worked great, and the house was clean. It wasn't a problem at all for our group but do note that there are many stairs inside and out, which might be challenging for folks with mobility issues (kitchen and living area is on the top floor.) We'd recommend this house to others.

This might be the most amazing property we’ve ever stayed at. The views, the hot tub, the floors each feel like their own homes, the suite in the basement has everything all inclusive. The kitchen was beautifully stocked down to ziplocs. It was perfect.

We were there in early September. Great views, wonderful kitchen that was well stocked with all we needed. Beds were on the very firm side, and several were too high for shorter people, making them unsafe. Lots of stairs!

However there was only 1 kitchen towel!??Several things needing repair:1. 2nd floor back bathroom tub drain frozen2. 1st floor bathroom clogged sinks/not draining & shower head holder broken3. Master bathroom shower head clogged4. BBQ 2 baffles warped and not functioning properly5. kitchen sink drains very slowly6. kitchen refrig. not operating on arrival7. several light bulbs out8. basement bathroom drain clogged9. Level 3 futon flat mattress with no batteries to fill.All the above were pre-existing upon arrivalMostly plumbing issues. However overall it was wonderful and I'd love to book it again next August for our annual family reunion.Thank you

This was a perfect gathering house to experience the beauty of Lake Tahoe with our children and grandchildren from around the country. We loved the views of the lake and trees from all of the windows. The pool table was a hit and the main floor was a great gathering space for our large group. The kitchen had everything anyone could need for cooking. The beds were great and even the towels were luxurious. The hot tub was another added bonus to soothe tired muscles after hiking. Beautiful place.

The house is beautifully appointed—the kitchen is well-stocked with plenty of dishes, and all the cooking gear you would need to enjoy a great feast with friends and family. The bedrooms were all very comfortable, and there were plenty of bathrooms for all. The views from the house were incredible. We spent a great deal of time on the various porches or in the hot tub enjoying the picturesque scenery. The house is beautiful without feeling stuffy. Our kids felt very comfortable and at home. The owners were easy to work with and quick to respond whenever we needed them. I highly recommend this property for your next stay in Tahoe!

We had a group of nine stay for a week at this property. The place itself is grand and beautiful. We LOVED that there were so many bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen is large and very well stocked. The hot tub was wonderful, and the numerous decks are great for meals and sunset watching.Our only complaints were the overall cleanliness of the property. There were some dishes in the cabinets with crusted on food. My sister found hair in one of the showers even though she was the first in our group to use it. The washing machine has some visible mildew on the rubber around the door opening. My husband and I were originally going to stay in the basement room, but we found a a good amount of what appeared to be mouse feces in several areas. On our last full day, my parents witnessed a chipmunk go into a speaker behind the television. They were able to remove the chipmunk to outside and cleaned out his nest. Perhaps the droppings in the basement were from chipmunks. The sheets and towels appeared very clean.Overall we LOVED the location and had a wonderful time. Communication with the owners was easy and they responded very quickly.

This is a beautiful place to stay. The surrounding scenery is amazing, and it is a short 5-10 minute drive to numerous trails and ski opportunities. The rooms are comfortable and well furnished, the amenities are abundant and the kitchen is well stocked with high end appliances and cooking utensils. The cupboards are abundant with mugs, plates and glassware. There were 12 adults that stayed here and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The pool table was well used as was the hot tub and soaking/jacuzzi tub. The best part for me was the beautiful view of Lake Tahoe that I saw as I was busy in the kitchen!

The house is very spacious, we had ages from 0-65, our family loved it. We have been coming to Tahoe for the past 25 years and this year was over the top. The location to the ski resort was a plus for our family of 14. We will defiantly be back next year. Lots of stairs, but it was well worth it.

There were 11 of us with plenty of room... note there are quite a bit if stairs ..if your decently in shape there are no issues! The house was clean and very comfy. Note there is a new sectional that was soooo comfy we absolutely loved it. If you are planning to cook the kitchen is well equipped.

We had an annual family gathering of 20, aged 9 to 80. 14 slept at Perfect Getaway,6 slept at another nearby VRBO. But we spent our time at Perfect. Wonderful views of the Lake. We had a blast! Lots of family bonding. 7 nice bedrooms with a comfortable bed for all. You spend most of your time in the common area on the top floor. A well-equipped kitchen where we prepared meals for up to 20. A comfortable living area where we watched a lot of Olympics and played family games. And, best of all, a pool table which was in constant use. The only drawback to Perfect Getaway is that it has 4 stories and lots and lots of stairs. You may need to get into shape to stay there! The only way to improve Perfect would be to add an elevator!

This is a great VRBO. There is tons of space for our family of 5-7 adults and 2 kids. The top floor was the gathering spot either around the kitchen table, the couch or the wraparound porch, all of which offer views either of the lake or the mountains. The house is high up enough to offer outstanding views but close enough to the attractions of South Lake Tahoe that it doesn't take forever to get there. The bedrooms were plentiful including a unique suite on the ground floor that came in very handy. For those who care about such things, the TV in the living room had subscriptions to both Youtube TV and Hulu, a touch that was very much appreciated. Great WIFI too! The kitchen had everything you need to cook (and we did) as well as an outdoor grill, lots of dishes and glasses, a double oven(!) and of course, the fridge, microwave and toaster oven. If you like hiking, the house is within a 10 minute walk of a handful of trails including Castle Rock and the Kingsbury North section of the TRT. The house itself was very clean and it was obvious that the host cares about the overall experience for their guests. We had to walk about 50 feet down the block to get the magical experience of the sunset over Lake Tahoe. That would just depend on the time of year. There are all kinds of touches you don't see from VRBO descriptions. If you have to a bit of work while you're there, there is an office on the top floor with a desk all ready to go. All in all a great experience!

We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful mountain home! It is off the beaten path (although easily accessible) with beautiful views of the snow-capped mountains and the lake. The home itself is spacious and fully appointed. Our family and friends skied daily from the Stagecoach Lodge lift area, which is just over a mile from the home. I would highly recommend this lovely home to those desiring beautiful views, great skiing and a lovely environment in which to relax!

We have been doing this annual trip for many years and this trip was far and above the best that we have had so far. There were several reasons for that, but mainly it was the great snow and a fantastic house. With a group of 14 we never had the feeling that we were all on top of each other. having the variety of bedrooms and sleeping areas was perfect. The house was fantastic for a group this size. The kitchen was great and allowed for several people to be preparing food while still being involved with everything going on in the huge living space. The hottub and the pool table were huge hits. The access to the ski resort was super easy and we only had one day were parking at the resort was a issue. We had several days of new snow and Monte actually had a crew come out and shovel off the decks and driveway. That was great.

We booked this beautiful home to celebrate Christmas & my daughter's family coming home from being stationed (Army family) in So Korea for 2 years! First it was immaculate & had everything we needed- well stocked kitchen, safety gates for my 1 yr old grandchild, fireplace & hot tub. The house is laid out in a way where we never felt like we were on top of each other & we all had our own space! And the views... couldn't begin to describe how stunning this area is! We were also very close to the center of town and Heavenly ski resort. I love the location of this home. It is close to everything but, in a quit nicer neighborhood. The lake views are nice too. The owner does an outstanding job communicating. The house is clean and well stocked with everything you need. I would encourage anyone who rents this home in the winter to have a 4WD vehicle. The roads are well plowed, but there are a couple of steeper sections (nothing too crazy).

My family loved our stay here! We usually go to Colorado for our annual snowboard trip, so we have seen and experienced lots of other kinds of cabins in the past. This was by far one of the most accommodating and thoughtful hosts we’ve had. Lots of towels, toiletries stocked in each bathroom, wood for fireplace, jacuzzi already warm and ready, easy to follow check in/out instructions posted around the house, REAL Christmas tree with decorations, board games, kitchen essentials, great surround sound speakers, the list goes on. My family of 14 was extremely comfortable here. We will definitely return if we snowboard Heavenly again. This cabin was only 10-15mins from heavenly, such a great location!
