About this house rental
The Wandering Artist is two properties combined - the main house, which has two bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms, and the carriage house, which has an additional bed and bathroom. A private courtyard connects the two homes and makes the perfect spot for morning coffee.
The main house has been recently renovated, converting two homes into one and opening up the space while maintaining the original brick walls. The spacious living room has plenty of comfortable seating, including a sleeper sofa, and a large, wall-mounted TV. Duel brick fireplaces, now decorative, are mirrored on both sides of the living space. The dining room has a beautiful, ornate table and opens to the adjacent kitchen, where you’ll find everything you need to prepare a meal.
Both bedrooms are upstairs, and each has their own bathroom. The first bedroom has a King bed and the second has a King bed and Twin bed. Each bathroom upstairs has a tub/shower combo and separate toilet area. The third bedroom is in the studio space of the carriage house which includes a Queen bed, a fully equipped kitchen and a full bath with a shower/tub combo.
You’ll be a quick walk to a selection of Savannah’s best restaurants, including Mrs. Wilkes Restaurant and Husk. A morning stroll down Jones Street will bring you to Clary’s Cafe, the setting for several scenes in Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.

This home has free, on-street parking. Availability will depend on time of day and season. Our guests have not reported trouble parking near the home.
We can welcome your dog companions at this pet friendly home, but ask that you find other arrangements for cats, birds, and other furry friends. There is a $130 pet fee (non-refundable) with a 35 lb. maximum weight limit per dog and a limit of 2 dogs per reservation. Some homes may allow larger dogs, please inquire for more details.

The home was so beautiful and on a very photogenic street. The location also felt very safe and was in great walking distance for many if the areas we wanted to visit, for example St. John's Cathedral. We seemed to be around other visitors, so that made me feel more comfortable.The home is spacious and very beautiful. However, be aware that the three bedrooms are not in the same dwelling space. The third is in a carriage house that's just a quick walk through the courtyard. Overall, we enjoyed this location and would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It is very spacious, very clean and very comfortable. The outdoor furniture and covers could use some attention, the covers are torn and the cushions were saturated and dirty and unusable due to the rain. I would mention the flight of stairs to get upstairs to the carriage house. My mother has some mobility issues and I was not aware in advance of the stairs. We had to buy more toilet paper and liquid soap for kitchen and bathroom. Could have used extra towels for kitchen and bathrooms. Overall, a beautiful house, great management company, quick to respond, we would definitely stay again!
