About this cottage rental
We offer you three traditional ground floor casinos that have been carefully restored to get a place where you will find yourself as in your own home. They are built using stone and chestnut wood, taking advantage in their decoration antique furniture and farm implements recovered.
San Martín is a small town (5 houses), located in the fertile vega of Mállene river (affluent of the Esva, one of the most important salmon rivers of Spain). It is a quiet place that invites you to rest.
In 2012 we renovated the former barn attached to the casinos to use it for the installation of a heated pool, available all year round, which our visitors can use freely during their stay.

La casina está muy bien ubicada: en medio de naturaleza, con un río al lado pero muy cerca de la autovía para moverte muy bien por todo Asturias.
La atención de los dueños, en especial de Maruja es excepcional. Atenta, cariñosa, una anfitriona perfecta pendiente que no nos faltara de nada. Además el alojamiento tiene cosas imprescindibles: aceite, sal, azúcar, estropajo, productos de limpieza... Los colchones cómodos y todo muy limpio.
La casita Balseireo está fuera del recinto principal, pero solo hay que cruzar la calle para entrar en el jardín y en la piscina que es una auténtica pasada. En Asturias hace fresco incluso en verano y con esta piscina climatizada puedes relajarte viendo las montañas en cualquiero momento del día.
Volveremos sin duda, es la mejor casita rural que hemos estado relación calidad-precio. Gracias Maruja por todo, ha sido un placer además ver tu granjita y tu huerta con nuestro pequeño !!!

Hemos estado una semana y ha sido estupendo. Mis hijos, de 8 y 4 años ya quieren volver. Maruja, la anfitriona, no ha podido ser más amable. Y qué decir de sus huevos, sus lechugas, sus tomates... Asturias es un paraíso por muchas cosas, pero puede que sus gentes sean de lo más importante. Las Casinas de San Martín son el sitio perfecto para conocer el concejo de Valdés. Y si llueve, la piscina climatizada es una estupenda opción viajando con niños. Volveremos!
