Unit 301, Sportsman's Lodge is located on the St. Johns River, just South of Palatka, Florida. We are located almost 2 hours from the Disney/Orlando area.
Welaka is known as the bass-fishing capital of the world. This 3/2 condominium is on the 3rd floor offering spectacular views down the St. John's River and dramatic sunsets. This 21 unit building has a beautiful waterfront pool. Sip cocktails by the pool and watch the sunset. Or relax on your own private balcony and watch the sunset. Several Silver Glen, Lake George and Salt Springs are close by. Private dock and assigned boatslip. A fisherman, boater,or waterskier/jetskier's paradise. Our unit is an end unit with views North and South down the St.Johns River. We are on the 3rd floor, so the view is spectacular, but there is no elevator. So the building is NOT handicap accessible. Took family trip for children's bdays and really enjoyed our stay, the room had great views and plenty of space. We enjoyed the river, springs and swimming pool. Also its only 45 minutes to St Augustine beach so we spent one day there. Adults and children are ready to return as soon as we left! Mary was great and really easy to deal with. Highly recommend 👌
