Great location. Quuet and oeaceful. Lonnie is a communicative host when you have questions.

We wanted a "stay on a lake" in this area, somewhere more private, where cabins aren't stacked up on each other. This place was perfect! It is simple, comfortable and fully functional. We enjoyed campfires at night, the starry sky is incredible. We caught several fish, using the rowboat. The upstairs beds are clean and comfortable. Meals were easy to prepare using the outdoor griddle, stove-top and large toaster oven. The indoor wood-burning stove came in very handy when the night temps dropped to 36 degrees. We also really enjoyed the wildlife at the cabin. Aside from ducks, frogs, and chipmunks, we seen bald eagles, otters, sandhill cranes, several deer and a fox. The wildlife sounds from across the lake, late at night, are intense. The hummingbirds forced me to fill the feeder. They are huge compared to down-state, but you will hear them before you see them. Then they'll make you feel guilty if their feeder is dry. The cabin is centrally located to a lot of attractions. We did a day trip into Munising for a pictured rocks tour and to visit several waterfalls. Also, a ride south to visit Kitch-iti-kipi. The directions to the cabin, provided by the host, are detailed and accurate. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. Overall, a great stay!

Property was just as described.Lake was a nice size. We enjoyed experimenting with the flat top grill.

My husband and I and our dog Leti stayed at the cabin for the second time this year. We enjoyed it very much both times. There are so many trails to ride ATVs on around the cabin, you'd never be able to go down all of them. Plenty of lakes around the cabin to fish at including the one right in your back yard at the cabin. The cabin is super secluded, we didn't see a person basically the entire time which was great. We had nightly campfires, Lonnie and his wife make sure there is plenty of wood. There was a brand new flat iron grill, new refrigerator, and was putting in a new window after we were leaving. The cabin is just right for a quiet, relaxing, perfect getaway. We got to meet the hosts Lonnie and Tammy this time, they're super friendly and welcoming. We definitely plan to come back and make it a yearly trip, hopefully twice a year!
