Papakea H206 is a nicely appointed 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo that can accommodate up to 6 guests. Situated on the 2nd floor, you'll enjoy the views, spacious bedrooms, and a fully stocked kitchen. It has one window A/C in the living area and gorgeous ocean and garden views. The ceramic tile and Canadian Maple Laminate floorings give the unit an airy and beachy feel. Take advantage of our laid back yet elegant condo that also includes a full suite of kitchen appliances, washer, and dryer, ceiling fans, free WiFi, Bluetooth enabled speaker and TVs in the living room and master bedroom. Enjoy a huge California King size bed in the master bedroom and the second bedroom features a Queen size bed. For two more guests, there is a pull-out couch in the main living area with a very comfortable 6” thick Queen size mattress.
This unit also supplies a portable crib for families that are bringing along their infant for their paradise family getaway. If you like to play we have all the toys including putters and golf balls, board games, beach chairs and more. There is a wonderful sandy beach walking distance from the condo. Beach sand levels can vary based on the conditions. Note: parking for a second car is $5/night.
Papakea Resort offers lush tropical landscaping, koi lagoon ponds, oceanfront saltwater pools, hot tubs, shuffleboards, golf greens, pickleball, and tennis courts! It is located just North of the famous Ka'anapali Beach. Walk to nearby local shops, cafes, restaurants, and grocery stores. It is a quick drive to Whalers Village and many of Maui's top beaches like Kaanapali, Napili Bay, and Kapalua Bay.

Papakea Resort is performing a property-wide plumbing project and you may hear some noise during this time. Standard work hours for this project will be from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday unless authorized for weekend work with any louder tasks being avoided until 10:00 am.. We have decreased rates during these dates to compensate for any inconvenience. Only two of the ten buildings are involved at any given time.The project will be completed in June 2026.

Awesome place! Stunning views and beautiful sunsets. I have nothing but great things to say. Just one negative but not a deal breaker and that is mainly the bathroom areas need a good detail cleaning. It wasn’t dirty just I am a detail person. I would definitely stay in the exact same apartment again.

This was a perfect staycation for me and my family!We weren't able to leave the island for my kids summer break but this was the next best thing! Location of property is in walking distance of many restaurants and shops. Our room had a wonderful view of the garden area and pond with the ocean in the backround.At night that view looks magical with the pool being lit up with blue lights in the water.My kids enjoyed the putting green and shuffle board and we got to spend quality family time together going on beach walks and dinner together. Unit was stocked with everything one would need to prepare a meal as if you were at home . During mid day bedrooms got a little warm but you have the option to open the windows letting the crosswinds flow thru the unit, we used that time of day to go and explore the property grounds. The units managment team communicated with me every stap of the way before during and after insuring me that someone was always available if i needed anything even though we were still on our home island we were treated no different and got the full vacation experience thanks to the my perfect stays team and wonderful unit and location.

This unit has a window unit in the living room with a timer. The primary bedroom does not have AC and is all windows with just a sheer curtain so the sun beats into it all day and we could never, ever cool it down. The AC filter light was on so maybe that would have helped, I’m not sure. Neither of the floor flans provided worked very well and were super old. We were just so hot. It would do wonders just to put black out curtains in the primary bedroom to help cool it during the day so it wasn’t such a struggle while sleeping at night. Also, the dishwasher smelled like rotten milk. We could barely open it during our stay because it made the entire apartment stink. It was also clearly very old. The location, unit, and everything else provided was great and I hate not to give someone five stars but it does need some updates.

Amazing grounds and views!
Your Comments The grounds were amazing at Papakea, it had it all! We really enjoyed the pool, hot tub and table in the common area that was ocean front and a gorgeous view of the sunset. The proximity to the shopping center (walking distance to both the Supermarket, coffee shop, food, and very close to ABC store) was so convenient. The grounds are manicured beautifully and we loved watching the koi from our lanai. I would never call it "beach" side, there is no beach- so that is definitely misleading...I would have loved for there to be a nice sandy beach to walk on, but like I said the grounds were amazing and the "seawall" view of the ocean is remarkable. The only downsides to the grounds in my opinion was that the security guard kept telling our kids they could not jump in the pool.. I understand no diving (it was 7 feet deep) but no jumping?! It said on the long list of rules that you could not even play "Marco Polo" which is absurd to me. Not to mention when the pool happened to not be monitored there were people jumping, flipping etc. Also they said no playing of music, I get that too but it was also not consistently enforced. I did love having the BBQs around the pool so we could watch the kids swim and prepare dinner. The condo was great, facing the ocean, and koi ponds, and you could see the nightly sunsets beautifully. There were some issues with the condo though. Some of the flooring was cracked, and we were only provided a very small amount of hotel shampoo (luckily I brought my own). The AC is a window unit that only cools that one main room and not very well, and the flap that directs the air on it was broken. It was nice the condo did provide scuba gear and golf supplies for the putting green. One of the portable fans were broken at the unit, and the shower clogged easily. I did not mind the furniture/beds etc. I did wish there was a bit more of a seating option in the main room though. All in all it was lovely. We really enjoyed our stay!
