The Cottage at The Woodburn Bungalows is a turn-of-the century, renovated home and has everything you need to feel cozy and comfortable. The bathroom is beautifully renovated with heated floors.
This cozy home is uniquely designed with interesting nooks and bedrooms that you will find super charming! The main floor features the bathroom, living room and kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped with new stainless steel appliances, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, blender, all the necessary utensils, cookware, a large selection of spices and complimentary coffee, creamer, sweetener, and tea. Follow the stairs leading to the laundry room and garden level bedroom. The lower bedroom has French doors that open onto the patio and nicely landscaped backyard.
A washer and dryer, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, an iron and ironing board are also provided for your convenience.
We are pet-friendly and accept up to two small to medium-sized dogs! No cats please. For special situations, please get approval from us before booking. Thank you.
This home is the perfect getaway for family vacations, friend getaways, business/conference events at The Broadmoor, and other events such as The Fallen Fireman Memorial. This casa was just perfect for two of us coming to visit my friend’s daughter who works at Broadmoor. I liked the nice and cool downstairs bedroom, my friend enjoyed the upstairs cozy window view loft. Just know both do require a few steps. Also, the first step downstairs is a different height, so due to muscle memory, it takes a bit to get used to! Every room was cozy and well updated. We would have loved a throw or two for the couch! TV is small but we appreciated being able to watch a World Cup game and 250th celebration Tall Ships & fireworks! Lots of shopping (Safeway, Dollar Tree, Sprouts) & tons of restaurant options within walking distance. A very cute little Creekwalk park up the street with live music. We enjoyed Caffeinated Cow Coffee shop nearby too. Bathroom was beautiful, great closet space and we enjoyed sitting on the back patio admiring the cute yard. Lots of space for two of us. Excellent communication.

As soon as I walked into the cozy cottage, I said out loud, “Yes, this is certainly a cozy cottage.” It’s in a great neighborhood: you’re a walk away from the Ivywild School (a great bar and place to eat) and a two-minute drive to a Safeway. You’re also about a 10 minute drive away from great hiking. There’s only one bathroom, but the plumbing is very modern, so no worries about everybody needing to use it. The backyard with the little four-seat table is quite nice. The refrigerator had some kind of problem with the waterline: the icemaker and the water dispenser wouldn’t work, but this was not a dealbreaker. I messaged the host and he said they would check it out, so if you book you can ask if it’s been fixed. One piece of advice: you get two parking spots near the cottage, which was fine for us, but if you have a big truck, like a Ford F150, and somebody is staying at the front house, you’re going to find it’s very hard to maneuver. I would book with them again.

Great little spot and great location. Owner answered any question I had very promptly. Only thing I didn’t like was the parking. If you have a full size vehicle it’s pretty hard to get in and out. Other than that, we enjoyed our time and would come back again.
