The Charming Chalet at Sonenalp is a spacious, beautifully finished mountain retreat just steps from Canyon Lodge—offering the comfort, privacy, and design of a luxury home in one of Mammoth’s most desirable boutique buildings.
With nearly 1,850 sq ft on a single level, this three-bedroom condo features two king bedrooms plus a bunkroom, a wide open living and dining space, and thoughtful details throughout. Guests consistently describe it as “hugely spacious,” “impeccably clean,” and “even better than expected.”
After a day on the mountain, unwind in the semi-private hot tub and sauna (shared with just one neighboring condo), grill dinner out front, or watch kids sled in the protected back garden. Garage parking for two vehicles, on-site ski and gear storage, and two shuttle stops just outside the building make getting around easy in any season.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this place in Mammoth. The place was clean, well stocked and close to the slopes. The management company is great and very easy to communicate with. We would stay again! Thanks!

Our group, which consisted of 12 adults and 4 kids spent an extended weekend at Sonenalp, staying in two units and we loved it! The condos immediately felt like home. Everything we needed was provided and ready to go. The units are beautiful and extremely clean. All the beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows and blankets...the bunks were even comfy! Our large group never felt crowded or like we were on top of each other. Location is super convenient. The owner was extremely responsive and accommodating and strived to make sure our stay was easy and enjoyable. We had no issues over the weekend,, however I'm confident they would have been swiftly and competently addressed. We will definitely be return guests!!
