About this apartment rental
Charming guest cottage on beautiful Lake Granbury! This newly constructed guest suite is lake front, on the most beautiful open water area of Lake Granbury and close to the Granbury Historic square. There are several steps to walk up to access the cottage, and is perfect for a couple with one bedroom (queen-size bed), but there is a large couch for an extra guest. There are ceiling fans in each room, and separate thermostats. Upon arrival guest are impressed with the immaculate interior of the cottage, with a kitchen, living room, and bedroom with private bath. Enjoy a great weekend at the lake and enjoy the fishing and scenery from the dock. (There is a resource for renting boats, jet-skis, and all kinds of water-sport equipment only blocks away.) The guest suite has a beautiful, serene view of the water, with plenty of outdoor seating to relax and enjoy. It's perfect for a romantic getaway, friends spending time together, or a relaxing overnight stay. Dine on site in the fully equipped kitchen or use the outside BBQ. Some prefer to experience Granbury’s fine restaurants, just minutes away. There is an outdoor fireplace and beautiful decks to enjoy the view of the lake. Curl up inside on the over sized sofa and enjoy watching your favorite sports on the 42'' flat screen set up for streaming your favorite channels and stay connected with our complimentary WiFi system. The guest suite is close to the Granbury Historic square and all the restaurants, quaint shops, local activities, and the beach! If guests need a break from the lake, there is plenty of entertainment around town. There is a newly renovated bowling alley and a cinema. There's even a drive-in movie in Granbury! On the historical Granbury Square there is always a play to be seen at the famous "Opera House." The guest suite is only 30 minutes from Fort Worth, or if you are interested in wildlife adventure, "Fossill Rim" is just a short drive away in Glen Rose, and "Dinosaur Valley State Park."

I am already looking at 2026 dates! This is the most well appointed, guest centered experience on a beautiful quiet property. It’s so close to the beach, the town Square and all the fabulous restaurants, and even if you did not want to leave the property, you can spend hours gazing out at the lake and sitting in front of the beautiful fireplace. Hosts are absolutely amazing.

This is a beautiful property with excellent amenities to enjoy. Our visit was in the fall, which made the outside areas very relaxing. The full moon over the lake created a wonderful romantic setting. Accommodations were comfortable and very inviting.Great hosts!Steve

The place is beautiful no doubt.. but when we arrived it had snowed an iced the day before an when we got to the suite the suite was literally Freezing.. it would’ve been nice for someone to have turned on the heat before our arrival.. it took forever to get it warm .. the couch could an should be up graded.. it sets literally on the floor an most uncomfortable… an the last there should be some kind of covering on the kitchen window… but the surroundings outside is the most beautiful place ever … just needs upgrade on couch….
