About this house rental
This is our last summer***Our Fashion Avenue home is walking Distance to Interlochen Center for the Arts, Interlochen library, Green Lake, and Duck Lake State Park. Our home is on a large corner lot. The living space is combined with kitchen and dining allowing for family gathering. The two bedrooms, 1 Queen, and 1 Full bed, and a sleeper sofa (linens are supplied). Cozy living room and TV with Roku Charter TV app and 1 gig of Wi-Fi for your entertainment. One bathroom which has whirlpool tub/shower combination. The laundry area has a washer and a dryer, iron and ironing board. Our Kitchen has an electric stove/ oven with warming tray, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator, and a dining table and many other updates.
Outside living area has a fenced in back yard, gas grill, seating area on the deck and a fire pit. We are 11 miles from Traverse City which is home to the National Cherry Festival, numerous Wine Country events, shopping and dining, Traverse City Film Festival, etc. There is always something happening in the Traverse City area. Of course, hunting, fishing, boating, skiing, and sight-seeing plus other activities are all close (10-20 mins) from our location.
Pets are allowed with advance approval. No smoking please.

I had family staying at the state park and appreciated that I could be at their campsite within 5 minutes. The property is not as new as some, however, everything was clean and well taken care of. As someone who gets quite warm, I appreciated having an air conditioning unit in the bedrooms. The wifi was very good. There is a grocery store within 5 minutes and the kitchen has the needed utentsils to cook full meals if you desire. The fenced in back yard was nice to have for my brothers dog.Check in was super easy and I appreciated that the list to do before checking out was minimal.

We'd stayed at this property while visiting Interlochen and touring northwest Michigan. The house is on a corner lot with a fenced back yard which was convenient. The check-process was easy and the host was responsive during our stay. The interior of the house was very clean. The house has 3 floor air conditioners but their water collectors have to be manually emptied. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the convenience of the location, except for an incident that happened the last night. At about 1:30 AM someone started banging on our front door. We had no idea who it was. It woke us up and un-nerved us to say the least. Beyond that the rest of our stay was fine and uneventful.
