This is a fantastic property. The home is well appointed, nicely decorated and clean. The kitchen has everything you need - we never ate out! And the best part is the creek out back. So lovely to explore during the day and hear at night. The owner of the property was great - responded to all of my questions ahead of the visit quickly and with great information about the area. I have stayed many places with my husband over 44 years and this was our favorite. Every time I walk to the front door I feel I am home. And he is still with me. I love Everything about this part of the world. This visit for the first time I played Nakoma Golf course from The forward tees. As a 73-year-old woman I was pleased to card 45 On the front nine. I loved this golf course. Recommended highly as well as the museum Trail from Plumas Eureka Park. Judy has done such a beautiful job of making this house a home and I hope to return many more times. Thank you for helping me continue the beautiful life. God gave Dave and me.

This was a great place to stay during our two weeks in Graeagle. The star of the show was the fantastic deck looking out over the woods (no back neighbors because the lot backs to Frazier Creek). Inside, the house was spacious - both a living room and family room - and comfortable. It came equipped with just about anything you'd want. The hosts responded promptly and helpfully to all questions. The location is right near Gold Lake Road, making visits to the many lakes there easy trips. Overall, highly recommended.

This was our third stay in this beautiful home with every convenience. We loved how clean, quiet and cool the interior was-the master bedroom is particularly lovely. We spent many afternoons reading in comfy chairs on the back deck, listening to the river and the birds. We will definitely return!!

I came to celebrate my 46th Wedding Anniversary...my husband was here with me in spirit and we both agreed it was our best vacation ever! I feel so comfortable here, as if it were my home because of the way it is furnished and cared for and because of all my wonderful memories with Dave. The neighborhood is quiet and very safe. No negatives to discuss at all...except I still can't figure out all the light switches LOL. The pantry is well stocked and there are plenty of dishes. I did not use the oven or stove, only the microwave which worked fine. The location is great for golf, for exploring Plumas Eureka State Park and Johnsville...I even went to the cemetery this time. Very interesting to find people emigrated from all over the world to such a remote place. I left before the 4th of July celebration and I'm glad because it started getting really busy in town. I got to enjoy Graeagle when it was still very calm. I will be back as soon as I can. Thanks Judy for sharing your beautiful home...it is a heavenly gift for me.

I returned here as a part of my husband's celebration of life "tour". From the moment I drove up to the house, I knew I had done the right thing by returning. The house and yard were just the same and comforting to me...especially the swing and Frazier creek sound. I used the BBQ and the heater as the mornings were quite chilly. Both worked very well. The day of his celebration of life, my friends told me a butterfly was flittering behind me as I spoke. On my final morning at the Graeagle home, I went to sit on the swing with a picture of Dave in my hands when all of a sudden, a butterfly came by to see me. It was the only one I had seen the entire trip. It as a wonderful ending to my trip of golf, hikes, and drives that Dave and I had taken 3 years ago. I would like to return next year...provided the swing is still there.

Overall, the house was great. The layout was cozy and the view from behind was lovely. The sound of the creek flowing was soothing. Plenty of amenities (even though we did not need them). We came into town for my wife’s family, get together in remembrance of their great grandma who passed away. This was the place that her family loved, and for the first time we were bringing our children. The home is very beautiful very well stocked and you can tell that a lot of time and effort has been put into place. On the first night, the hot water heater went out we contacted the hosts and they were able to fix it right away. Somethings are no one’s fault, and it was nice that they could come and fix it. I think this shows how amazing they are, and how much they value the people who come to stay at their home. We can’t wait to come back !

What did we love the most? The sense of absolute peace that comes from the pine dotted property along with the swing beside the creek. We just couldn't get enough of the outdoors!! We enjoyed dinner on the deck every night...no bugs! We got a hot spell but opening the windows at night kept the house very comfortable. Home Pros: great beds, great showers and water pressure, soft water,big fridge, well stocked kitchen and bathroom supplies, wonderful natural light in the house, quiet streets for evening walks, close to groceries and gasoline, close to 5 golf courses, plenty of open space in house. Cons: scratchy towels, carpet needs cleaning, confusing light switches..but the cons are so small compared to the pros that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others and return myself. Graeagle is not a "party" town..the grocery store closes at 6 as does the restaurant at Graeagle meadows..so cooking at home works best.. oh and bring your own knives if you are a foodie. Great response time from owner! Thanks so much for sharing your home with us.

Great and very spacious house with large outdoor areas close to a river. I was concerned about no air conditioning especially since it was it the high 90's but we opened it up at night and closed it during the day and it stayed very comfortable. We will definitely rent it again.
