About this cabin rental
Rock your worries away on the spacious wraparound deck as you sip a cup of coffee to the sweet sound of birds. Nestled in the quaint community of Gingercake Acres, you can enjoy the peace and serenity a mountain cabin affords you.
There are 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom on the main level along with the open flowing kitchen and living room. Access the wraparound porch from the living room and enjoy the view of Joe Johnson Mountain.
Downstairs you will find a spacious master suite with bathroom and double doors that open to a private patio. Stay cozy with gas log fireplaces on both the main level as well as the master suite. Wireless internet and Dish Network services are also provided.
As you venture into the backyard space, you will find an inviting fire pit area perfect to sit around and chat with friends, and maybe even roast some s’mores.

Wow! This is a really wonderful place. Great location (we hiked two trails right out of the neighborhood, Brushy Ridge and Jonas Ridge/Sitting Bear trails, which were both fun and scenic. Table Rock and Hawksbill trails nearby (and MANY others).Cabin is well stocked and extremely comfortable. We loved both the covered front porch (POURED the first day) and the deck in back (perfect for morning coffee). And the fire pit was just right for enjoying the bats at dusk then watching the stars come out while listening to the Eastern Screech Owls call.If you stand in just the right place, you can get Verizon cell service sporadically, and the internet is functional. But those are definitely not things that you want to worry about when you stay here. Why would you check your email or Zoom? OK, I did a few times, but not willingly.Finally, Kay was a great host. Responsive and communicative. All in all, we will be back. Couldn't think of a better place to stay. Thanks, Kay, for opening up your home to us.
