This is a fantastic, modern property located on a beautiful island in Dubai. From the security to the reception, to the gentlemen that park your car, to the cleaning staff, everyone is absolutely fantastic.

I liked everything about the property.

W Hotel is one of the best hotel, I have been. There are various restaurants and a nightclub in the facility which is perfect to spend the night

If there was a spa, it would be better. There are pools which is very good gor chilling but I would prefer to have a swimming pool too.

If you want a rockstar experience - book the W on the Palm. The minute you step out of the car and into the hotel, you're treated like royalty. Front desk team (Vee) ensured we had a great experience, and even went out of her way to include anniversary treats in our room. The room was really special and huge, with a great balcony and a massive bathroom. Very funky design, comfy bed, and pillows. The Wetdeck bar on a Sunday was the perfect end to our rockstar weekend.

If there was anything I would change, it would be the water temperature (either very hot or very cold), and the towels. I like mine fluffy.

Food and drinks were very much overpriced. Limited restaurants, also way overpriced. Poor gym with limited equipment and space.

It’s great if you want a fully self-contained stay-cay. The staff were super-attentive and facilities first class.

The curtain in my room was broken and didn’t quite close properly rendering the room a little bright at night. There are ALOT of bright blue lights in the room that don’t go off overnight. The pillows were hard. Need some alternative to down. Perhaps a selection including latex, memory foam as well. Please put a room service menu in the room and a breakfast card we can hang on our door at night rather than calling for breakfast in the morning or having to scan our tv each time to order online. Something to stir sugar into coffee/tea in the minibar would be useful. Also, my workout matt in the gym was “damp” which was icky. These are all small things that a hotel of this calibre should be all over.

We liked the hotel ,room,ambience and location is awesome we enjoyed with kids in the pool.we would suggest our friends for the stay in this hotel.we had a great experience in the family pool Syed Azauruddin and Akash ,these two guys helped and guided us and we ordered fool as well these two guided and served what ever we want.Thank you so much Akash and seed.

Paying for water bottles at the pool while they are free in the room was disappointing for a 5-star hotel. It should be complimentary.

this was my third time staying at the hotel. the pool facilities are what keeps me returning.

there used to be a shuttle to nakeel mole and to waterfront. but now it's not available. the spa is closed. floor five is almost cut to half, and it is very crowded.

Another special shoutout to Moses at the concierge desk, so warm and helpful and friendly, just what you need when you on Vac!!! Oh porters at the entrance make you feel so welcome !!! Needs a bigger swimming pool for families

Staff are superb and the friendliest team in Dubai.

There is no designated mens barber shop. They say there is a 3rd party business that does it. However, this is a ladies' hair studio that doesn't have anything for mens grooming or shaving.

Our stay at W Dubai was nothing short of amazing. Everything was absolutely perfect, from the elegant and stylish room to the fantastic pool and the exceptional beach. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options that we truly enjoyed each morning. The hotel’s location on the iconic Palm Jumeirah made the whole experience even more special, offering stunning views and easy access to everything we needed. It was truly a luxurious and unforgettable getaway. Highly recommended!

The location and staff

The unseen charges and the fact we were there for my wife’s 40tj Birthday untold them this and not a single mention of it was quite poor for a hotel that size and cost. The bank charges were also ridiculous

Breakfast food was good. Service was terrible by the staff (they decided to take my chair and my son’s plate while I was getting food for my kids!) The management tried so hard but it was too late. My wife got food poisoned by the ceviche at the buffet for lunch and while leaving they were trying to offer us a dinner invite! Seriously?! No thank you!

We chose to return to the W for the Eid break, hoping to recreate the exceptional experiences we’ve had there in the past as a couple. However, this time we came as a family with our four young children, and it turned out to be a huge mistake. What was once a luxurious, enjoyable getaway for two turned into a frustrating and stressful ordeal for six. The hotel is simply not family-friendly — not in policy, not in atmosphere, and certainly not in staff training. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that families with young kids are not only an afterthought, but practically unwelcome. The vibe throughout the property caters almost exclusively to adults, particularly those more interested in partying than relaxing — think loud music, intoxicated guests, and an overall environment that is neither safe nor comfortable for children. Basic needs for families — like quiet spaces, considerate service, or even simple kindness from staff — were noticeably lacking. The staff seemed overwhelmed, disinterested, and frankly, unequipped to handle children or families at all. There was no warmth, no accommodation, no effort to make our stay easier or more pleasant. It felt like we were intruding on someone else’s party, not paying guests at a so-called five-star resort. What was meant to be a joyful, relaxing Eid break ended up feeling like a complete waste of time and money. We left feeling exhausted, disappointed, and unwelcome. A place that once held great memories for us has now been completely tarnished. Never again. If you’re a family — especially with young kids — steer clear. There are far better options out there that actually value your presence and understand what hospitality really means

We had a very disappointing stay at W Hotel. This place is completely unsuitable for families. The environment is chaotic and feels more like a nightclub than a hotel. The pool and breakfast buffet were overcrowded, loud, and stressful. At night, there was a party with music so loud we couldn’t sleep — no peace or quiet at all. We had booked a full ocean view private room, but were given a first-floor room with only a partial sea view, mostly blocked by trees. Totally misleading and unacceptable. What shocked us the most was the lack of basic standards. Guests were behaving inappropriately in public areas like the sea and sunbeds, with no regard for families or children around. It felt like there were no rules or supervision whatsoever. This was a very bad experience. We absolutely do not recommend W Hotel for anyone traveling with family or looking for a calm and respectful environment. We won’t be returning.

On a positive note, the hotel’s design is beautiful and modern. The architecture and interior design are impressive, and the rooms are stylish and well-decorated.

unfortunately I had several issues during my stay. The main problem was the air conditioning in the room—it wasn’t cool enough, and I had trouble sleeping because of it. I asked the hotel to change my room, and while they did accommodate my request, the new room had the same issue with the AC not being cold enough. Another downside was that all the restaurants in the hotel closed quite early, which was inconvenient when I wanted to grab a late meal or snack. In the first room, I also experienced a problem with the toilet leaking dirty water and giving off a bad smell. Thankfully, this issue was resolved after I changed rooms. Lastly, I was disappointed to find that the spa was closed for renovations during my stay, which was not mentioned beforehand. Overall, while the hotel has great potential with its modern design, my experience could have been much better.
