Frangipani Cottage Narooma

The view was great - it was wonderful to wake up to look out over the lake and watch the sunset. The kitchen was well-equipped, furniture was comfortable and there was plenty of it. It was easy to walk to the shops, There were 3 coffee shops/cafes to choose from nearby, restaurants and bars. Narooma itself is very scenic and perfectly located to go sight-seeing west, north and south. An excellent holiday that the house adequately supported.

The only criticism was the fact that we searched online for a suitable pet-friendly location. We applaud the owner for making this property available for us and our pet. However, (only) when we arrived we were informed by the RE agent that the back yard had a "damaged fence and there had been an issue with the 'dog' next door entering the yard". The "fence" on that side is inadequate and made from a pile of junk - not a fence per-se. The three VERY LARGE and aggressive dogs barked quite ferociously and gave us quite a shock in the morning - but did not enter. I would not trust any dog with those neighbour's pets. The owner should build a proper fence between the properties for the safety of humans and animals alike. The large rear yard as it stands is virtually a no-go zone. However, we did not allow this to upset our stay - as there were plenty of areas to walk on a lead out the front.

Quaint holiday cottage with amazing views over the inlet. Clean and comfy and met all of our requirements. Very handy location, close to supermarkets and shopping.
