About this cottage rental

The Park Street Guest Cottage is located at the end of Park Street in a serene country setting, walkable to town (0.5 mile), Park & Main, from another udder ice cream, Carlton Bakery, tasting rooms, shops, other restaurants, community pool, parks and more.

The cottage has two master suites, a full kitchen, a large living room with smart, cable tv, internet, books and games and a private back yard. The backyard has a paver patio, fire pit, BBQ, garden, etc.

The cottage has been completely remodeled and shares a wall with our private home. There is ample off-street parking. There is NO washer/dryer.

The cottage is ideal for two couples or families staying in the area.

Home is where you hang your hat, and that’s exactly what we did at this wonderful property. The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped with everything needed to prepare anything from a light snack to a gourmet meal. The living room is comfortable and features a delightful library of books. We both discovered titles we might never have picked up otherwise, which made our stay even more memorable.The west-facing picture window provided warm daylight to read by. The beds were comfortable, and the showers in each suite were fabulous—great water pressure and plenty of hot water! The backyard was perfect, offering a quiet, almost pastoral setting where we used the gas grill, enjoyed the weather, and watched squirrels and birds.The location is excellent—not only in the heart of wine country but also just over an hour from both Cannon Beach and Multnomah Falls. The Evergreen Museum in McMinnville was a surprising and worthwhile find. Two outstanding eateries, Ikigai and Park & Main, are within walking distance right down the street, making dining out both easy and enjoyable.We had such a great time here and in the surrounding area that we’re already looking for a reason to return to this home away from home.

Perfect place for 2 couples to stay. Kitchen is set up very well. Everything you need to cook in. Bedrooms and bathrooms are great.The outside area is lovely. We didn’t take advantage of it this time because of the extreme heat!We stayed 3 nights, concert in Forest Grove the first night and 2 days of wine tasting.

Perfect location to all Carlton has to offer and wineries galore! The house was perfect, not too big, not too small and nicely remodeled. Two masters were very impressive, kitchen had all necessary needs plus more. You will love the merging of contemporary and antique decor and furnishings. Cute outdoor area for enjoying summer evenings in Oregon. A true diamond in the rough!

The guest house was perfect for our group. We were two couples, each with our own extremely comfortable bedroom and bathroom. The house is beautifully decorated, well-equipped and welcoming. The lovely roses in the front and the private fenced back yard were a bonus. Check in and out was easy and the host was immediately responsive. Wonderful stay!

Just a short walk to the main street in Carlton, this home had everything we needed...including a fresh bucket of ice cubes when a cocktail was in order instead of wine. Located at the end of a quiet road but handy to numerous wineries and tasting rooms, it could be considered the ideal spot with no traffic or commotion.

We loved the pristine spaces in this well designed cottage. The private rear garden is a bonus. Maryfrances has thought of everything and it was easy to be a guest. Such a cute home with comfortable beds , great showers , nice outdoor space for sitting and enjoying a cup of coffee or wine . If you have found this lovely guest cottage, stop looking and book! The pictures on line are totally true. The house was more than enough for the two of us, and it would be great for two couples as bedrooms are across from each other and both have their own bathrooms. The home was so very clean and it was wonderful to come back after a day of wine tasting and lounge on the comfy couch. The location is also great as it's so central to everything and easy to get to wineries and other towns. The owner provided so much information before and during our stay which is always appreciated. We'll be back!

This review, while it has nothing but praise is focused on what we look for when we look for a place to stay. We start by booking only premier owner-operated properties. Our experience with property managers has been too hit or miss. Here is our read on the owners of the Park Street Guest Cottage, the perfect central location to stay as we ventured out to the wineries in the Willamette Valley! There is a clear sense of Pride of Ownership. It shows up in attention to detail, quality furnishings and nicely decorated elements throughout the cottage. There is a real focus on guests. From a welcome gift as you enter, high quality snacks, fresh coffee, recommendations on places to eat and wineries to visit. Everything is spic and span clean. The cottage is their pride and joy. Maryfrances and Dustin are entrepreneurs; they have skin in the game, and it shows in every aspect of their lovely cottage. When you have that, everything else falls right into place. The cottage is in an older rural area on a small street. We found that to be a welcome change! The cottage is absolutely lovely! It was perfect for 2 couples, and had everything we needed. We could easily walk everywhere in Carlton. The little back yard with a fire pit was a great place to enjoy the evenings. Maryfrances had everything set up and ready to go for us. We look forward to a return visit!

This is a great location for exploring wine growing areas of the Willamette Valley. The space is a perfect set up with two bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. Amazing collection of games and DVDs but we never stayed home long enough. Kitchen seemed well supplied and host provide excellent welcoming snacks. Very comfortable home. We didn’t want for anything. In Carlton be sure to go to the Carlton Wineworks after breakfast at the Carlton Coffee Shop. Great homemade scones and inventive breakfasts. Avoid the overpriced Carlton Bakery. How can you burn a breakfast croissant sandwich? Dinner must is Bistro Maison in McMinville. Best wine tasting experience: Domaine Drouhin.

This was the perfect location for our wine and golf get-away. We enjoyed come back to the house each day, sitting in the wine barrel chairs on the back patio, and recapping the day's adventures. Having two master suites worked perfect for two adult couples. The kitchen is set up for ease of use and the livingroom is very comfortable. We would totally reserve this location again!
