Newly Remodeled Historic Log Cabin on Banks of Horse Creek

Absolutely could not have been better. This house had been renovated, remodeled and thoroughly cleaned and prepared to receive us. We had some special needs which were exactly what we had described that we needed and although I am not given to overstating my satisfaction nor embellishing my praises when I get exactly what I asked for, this house had been readied for us precisely as advertised. In a word—perfect.

This place was exactly as advertised. The creek out back was very soothing. Walking distance to town and easy access to the Independence Day parade. Thank you for a wonderful 4 days of enjoyment!

Home was just as described. A little hard to find in the dark as the address is small and there were no lights on outside. There were lots of extras that I wish we would have known about prior to arriving so we didn’t purchase them; we needed 2 disposable spoons for the next day but had to buy a whole box of utensils but there were some at the house, same with ziplok baggies. Not a major deal but would save on waste if people knew prior to stopping at the store. We were offered a late check out due to arriving late which was very nice even though we did not use it. Would stay again if we return and have more time in our schedule as it was a relaxing place.

We enjoyed this cabin very much. The cabin was clean and cozy. I wish we could have spent more time in it but had to move on to our next adventure.
