Wonderful historic home in West Harwich just 0.4 miles to Earle Rd. Beach, load up the wagon with beach toys and chairs and walk two short blocks to this sandy beach with its beautiful grass covered dunes. This house has a great layout for two families or one large extended family with the flexibility of a first floor master and a queen bedroom upstairs for parents and grandparents with two additional rooms including a room with double bunkbeds and a room with double twin beds for children and other guests. It has a screened in porch with a bar and an enclosed back yard for privacy and safety with a private outdoor shower.
Convenient to everything including: the Cape Cod bike trail, Herring River and Conservation area for fishing, kayaking and bird watching, pause and listen to the church bells ringing out from nearby Holy Trinity Church or spend a moment in quiet reflection within the beautiful chapel located behind it, 0.5 miles to Star/Shaw's grocery store, enjoy fresh caught seafood or a steamed lobster from Swan River Seafood market, or dine out at one of Harwich's many family friendly restaurants. The house was nicely laid out, spacious, and a perfect location for the annual family trip away. The fenced yard helpful with a 2 year old, large enough to play while secure. Everything was well organized and easily accessible. The homeowner was very responsive and easy to reach. The nearby beach was quite nice, a short drive with beach gear. The water lovely for swimming. The area had lots of options for excursions even on rainy days with a range of activities, restaurants, and a grocery around the corner. Wonderful array of children’s books, dvds, and games. Overall a very ‘home like’ feel. Everyone had a fabulous time. Quite a nice visit. Thank you for sharing your cute place!

Wonderful house! Spent a week here with friends for a Girl's trip and it couldn't have been better. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and everything we could possibly need was provided. The beach was a short walk down the road and beach equipment was also provided. I will say that if you have an elderly person or anyone who might have trouble with stairs plan for them to stay in the first floor bedroom the stairs are a little steep and narrow. The host was fabulous to work with. Answered any questions we had immediately.
