Goose House: spacious lake home with heated pool, game room, private beach on Cayuga lake

Looking to book your next family get-away? Look no further! This spacious home situated beautifully on 200' of Cayuga lakefront will be sure to please with a heated in-ground pool in the summer, a game room to enjoy in the cooler months and expansive views/access to the lake.

Walking in on the main floor, you'll find a large open floor plan.  The Dining Room, Kitchen and Living Room are all open to each other with high vaulted ceilings and tiled floors.  There is plenty of seating in the Living Room area with 2 separate dining tables.  The large dining room table seats 10 and there is an additional smaller table that seats 5.

The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware and dinnerware and has an island with additional seating space.

Off of the kitchen, you'll find a large office room with a gas fireplace, games, sofa, desk and TV.  This room has doors that walk out onto the driveway as well as a door that closes this room off from the rest of the house, making it a quiet office space if necessary.

The Main bedroom on the main floor has a King size bed with french doors that open out onto the deck overlooking the lake.  There is a large full bath attached to the master bedroom with a walk in shower.
The second bedroom on the main floor has another King size bed and the main floor full bathroom is just outside this bedroom door.  This bathroom has a tub/shower combo.

Downstairs you'll walk into the family room with several couches, a pool table, several bar tables, a wine bar area, large screen TV with SONOS surround sound and the wine room.  This large open family room has 3 sets of doors that open out onto the covered concrete patio overlooking the lake and to the pool area .  The wine room has a small sink as well as a mini fridge.

You'll also find two more bedrooms downstairs.  Bedroom 3 has 2 sets of Double beds and doors that lead out onto the patio and the pool.  Bedroom 4 has a Queen bed and a  Twin/Double bunk combo.  There is an additional 3rd full bathroom between these two bedrooms with a tub/shower combo.
The laundry room is also downstairs with a washer and dryer for you to use.

The lawn is large enough for lawn games and has level access to the water with several hundred feet of private lake front. The dock area is great for fishing, swimming, or just relaxing and enjoying the views. There are 4 kayaks at the house as well--2 doubles and 2 singles.

If you're not fond of swimming in the lake, there is a lovely heated in-ground pool overlooking the lake, for your enjoyment, with a seating area and charcoal oven, pool-side (pool is only available in the summer months from mid-May to the end of September)!  There are many beautiful flower gardens surrounding the house, the pool and patio.

The home is aptly named Goose House because of the many Canadian geese you'll see on the lake.  During migration periods, there are flocks of geese that may come to the shoreline/edge of the yard.   If you do not enjoy watching the geese or find wildlife to be a nuisance, this property may not be the best fit for you, but if you enjoy watching wildlife and birds you will absolutely love watching the lake habitats from the windows of the house, the yard or the lake itself.  The expansive view of the lake is phenomenal, fishing is good, and the wildlife is enjoyable to observe.

The house has a large wrap around deck facing the lake and there is plenty of outdoor dining space as well as a large gas grill.

Located just 30 minutes North of Ithaca and 30 minutes from Auburn, this home is easily accessible and close to area attractions, all while still having privacy and easy lake access. Enjoy your morning coffee on the large deck, facing East with stunning views of the lake.

*The gas fireplace in the main floor office is available for guest use.  The fireplaces in the main floor living room and lower level family room are non functioning and guests must refrain from using these.

*Air conditioning is provided with wall units throughout the house

*A limited amount of paper towel, toilet paper, soaps, is provided for each guest.

**We ask that renters to be over the age of 25. By booking you agree with this policy and comply with the request that the renting party is over the age of 25.
**No pets or animals allowed at any time. Anyone found to be in violation, will be asked to leave immediately and/or charged an additional fee

**Guest must comply with maximum occupancy at all times. NO EXCEPTIONS.  10 guests ONLY at any time
**Parking for 5 vehicles only!!!

**Guests are asked to initial a rental waiver, sent via email, immediately after booking

**Lake conditions are not guaranteed and are non refundable

**DOCKS: A dock is provided, you are solely responsible for ensuring docks and/or mooring facilities are adequate.  The pontoon hoist is available for guest use but the v bottom hoist is not available to use.
Guest assumes liability for use of the dock and assumes responsibility and liability for damages done to the dock during their stay, whether the damage is done by their watercraft or the guest themselves.

**Seasonal amenities: kayaks and some outdoor furniture is available seasonally and is often available for use from mid-May to October
