Spacious room with balcony, 2 good sized very comfortable beds, modern bathroom with great shower. Lovely swimming pool. Extremely welcoming and helpful family who run Blooming Resort. Location is not near any cafes but this is to your advantage since the meals provided by the owner and her mother are absolutely amazing! In 4 weeks travelling throughout Sri Lanka this was hands down the best food we had. Over 3 nights stay, every meal - both breakfast and dinner - was different. Dinner was rice and curry: the chicken was cooked in different ways each time and accompanied by 5 dishes, usually 1 kind of dahl, a salad, and 3 kinds of vegetables (and of course rice). The 9 varied vegetables were a highlight - great if you're vegetarian. Presentation and taste were both outstanding. I cannot recommend the cooking more highly! They organised a tuktuk tour of the cultural sites the first day and the driver was also an excellent guide. And he took us on to Wilpattu at the end of our stay.

Total value for money. Cleanliness is exceptional. Breakfast is fresh and delicious. Whats more is the service and friendliness from the owners/staff.

Clean and cozy bed room....kind and attentive owners...good clean pool...value for money...tasty breakfast...shady garden..quiet neighbourhood not far from the city..
