It has an amazing view from up in the valley but it’s a terrible road to get up to it so you are pretty much trapped while you are up there. Also, there is another property being built right in front of it. The room was beautifully presented with great view and the food in the restaurant was delicious.

The staff member I’m seemed to get while I was there was surly and unfriendly. It’s being marketed as a lux property so it should have a better wine list, by the glass and bottle. Also, the music that was playing didn’t really fit with the atmosphere of the place. The pool area needs to be attended better, cleaned of used plates/glassware and better service.

Surreal to go to the hotel and have it be exactly like the pictures. We had an amazing three nights. The location was beautiful, decor was well designed, staff was very friendly, the food was great and the facilities were very up to standards. The prices of things at the hotel were also quite reasonable

A hotel with stunning views and beautiful, spacious lodges. The location really depends on what you’re looking for — tucked away in the mountains, it’s perfect for a romantic getaway, but not ideal if you’re planning to party. I really loved the overall style of the hotel.

The hotel itself is set in a stunning location high up in the mountains, with beautiful views and spacious lodges. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. When we arrived, the tap in our room was broken, but two staff members came within an hour and fixed it, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the main issue was the restaurant. I ordered a Niçoise salad with tuna and first found pieces of eggshell in it. My husband mentioned the tuna tasted a bit off, but I continued eating it. Within minutes, my tongue started to swell, my lips turned purple, I developed a rash all over my body, and my face became red and swollen. It turned out to be scombroid fish poisoning — a reaction caused by fish that hasn’t been stored at the proper temperature. When certain fish like tuna are not kept cold enough, bacteria produce high levels of histamine, which can cause symptoms similar to a severe allergic reaction. The restaurant removed the salad from our bill. The staff were genuinely worried and kind, and I understand it wasn’t intentional — but it was still a very serious situation. Since the hotel is so remote and there are no other places to eat nearby, we had no choice but to continue dining there. In general, the dishes looked beautiful but tasted quite bland — and by spices I simply mean basic seasoning like salt. On a different day, I ordered a piña colada, which was honestly the worst I’ve ever had — unbalanced and watery. It was also removed from the bill. Overall, the staff were very nice and the setting is beautiful, but the restaurant experience — especially the fish poisoning — unfortunately overshadowed everything else.
