About this house rental
*New for 2021/2022 a brand new $200,000 salt-water heated pool with a 15-person in-ground hot tub. It's amazing* - We spent the bulk of the 2020 pandemic using the house ourselves and doing major upgrades and restorations. The house is in tip-top condition.
This is a seven-bedroom, five-and-a-half bathrooms home located on the 13th hole of the Ritz Carlton Oconee golf course in the Reynold’s Lake Oconee community. *also new - We just spent $3500 to have a business-class wifi system put on the property for super fast and stable wifi that covers every square inch of the property. It's a massive house with lightning-fast service throughout.
This is a large home built recently with a game room including a tournament nine-foot pool table, solid wood foosball table, 8 person poker table, ping pong table, gas grill, multiple decks, beautiful view, two kitchens, two fireplaces, gourmet kitchen, three dining areas and more!
This luxury, non-smoking home is within walking distance of the Ritz Carlton and all of its amenities. *note that during the pandemic, not all amenities are open to guests - it's best to check with us for the latest update.
An extremely large 80 inch OLED TV is in the house. There is everything you expect a home like this to offer. The chef's kitchen is fully stocked with all supplies.
Reynolds Lake Oconee is known worldwide for its great amenities and 99 holes of golf, all located 75 miles (one hour) from Atlanta or Augusta, Georgia. This is a top destination for golf in the southeast. Robb Report has selected Reynolds as “Best of the Best Golf Community” and a top golf destination in the United States. Zagat and Conde Nast also have rated Reynold’s Lake Oconee as a top golf destination in the United States. Please note that as of right now, they are not allowing us to book tee times for guests if a member isn't playing with you. You'll want to book at least one room at the Ritz if you intend on playing these courses. Another option is to book the Harbor Club next door. They allow public bookings.
In addition, the Ritz-Carlton Lodge is located two miles from the home. Guests have access to the Ritz’s restaurants and a full-service spa for a small daily fee per person. The Spa features 19 tranquil treatment rooms, including one couples suite, four wet treatment rooms, and separate gentlemen and ladies lounges, saunas, steam rooms and whirlpools, and a full-service salon. *note that during the pandemic, not all amenities are open to guests - it's best to check with us for the latest update.

The house is a magnificent home and there were many touches like bathroom beauty items, swim towels, ice making machine and bar items. It was very clean and had a terrific new pool and hot tub that was great for a variety of ages in our group. The best thing was Rick was a very gracious host helping with a golf t time and responding to questions promptly. I’d give the place a 10 on a sale of 0-5!

My family and I had a great time in Greensboro. Upon arrival, we found the house exactly as described, ample room for everyone to spread out or come together for games and dinner. We appreciated how well maintained everything was on the inside, top of the line appliances and everything.There was an issue with plumbing in one of the bathrooms, but Rick was very responsive and extremely apologetic. Our only significant disappointment was the outdoor area. While the hot tub and pool were perfectly clean and ready for use, the grill, table and seating areas looked like they hadn’t been cleaned since last Summer. Overall, we would recommend and rent this house again, especially if the exterior is maintained with the same care and attention as the inside.

We had 18 people / 3 generations from the same family - grandparents, children / spouses, and grandchildren. We had plenty of room and were never on top of one another despite being in the house for the entire week due to COVID concerns and being very cautious about venturing out to local stores and attractions.Bedrooms are good, with bathrooms en-suite for the master and other bedroom on main floor. The upstairs bedroom also has a bathroom, but this room has two twin beds and a couch that can sleep two, but I would not expect an adult to sleep well on the couch (the kids did fine with it). The downstairs bedrooms are configured with a bedroom and bathroom, a bedroom and bathroom that is also accessible from the hallway, and two bedrooms that do not have bathrooms attached. There is a half bath between the rooms, but the guests in these rooms will need to use either the shower accessible from the hallway or someone else's en-suite bathroom. With 5 households we drew straws to assign the downstairs rooms. While not ideal, it worked out. The one room has two queen beds with a headboard between them. We had four boys with us and it worked well.There is a kitchen (less an oven) in the downstairs and a full kitchen on the main floor. It is a fully functional home from a utensil and appliance standpoint. Only item missing would be a griddle for pancakes, but they have multiple toasters, coffee machines, and even a waffle iron. There is seating at the bar for 8 and at the table for 10, so we had not problems dining each night.For the size of the home, a bigger couch in the living room would be desirable, but there are plenty of chairs you can pull up. Fireplaces are on the main floor (living room) and downstairs (game room). Game room has a pool table, foosball, and a poker table. We brought an Xbox and plugged it in there and the kids spent most of the week in this area of the home.The house is equipped with a lot of games. Board games, cards, etc. There is also cornhole, ping pong, some basic workout items, and golf clubs. There is plenty to do here.The pool is amazing. This is the best selling feature of the home by far and will not disappoint. The only downside is the two bedrooms near the pool equipment are a bit noisy overnight.Rick was great to work with and was responsive from the booking through check out. I highly recommend and would like to go back and play a round of golf. The view is exceptional and we would 100% stay again.
