Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Travel cot and stairgate. Garden with garden furniture. 2-acre grounds with garden and woodlands (shared). Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking.. This charming cottage with its own secluded rear garden occupies a wonderfully peaceful location overlooking Sibly Back Dam and the open countryside. Attached to the owner’s home, and located only 8 miles from the sandy beach at Looe, it stands in 2-acre grounds with a footpath running to the lake where various water sports and fishing opportunities are available.

We had a fantastic few day’s holiday. A lovely welcome, from friendly owners / neighbours. Excellent communication before stay, including warning that the Wi-Fi might not be fixed in advance of our stay - it was fixed during our stay and worked well. Thank you.

What a wonderful find! This cottage is located overlooking Siblyback Dam and is a little remote but that is exactly what we were after! Such a clean cottage, very well equipped and warm! Lovely to arrive to a cream tea too! Jean was very good at keeping in touch before we arrived and key pick up went very smoothly. We will definitely be booking this cottage again.

A wonderful cottage, hosts and area. We have had a fantastic time - Jean and Chris have been so welcoming and there was a Cornish tea waiting for us after our long journey that day. Nothing was too much to ask and the cottage was a home from home so clean and everything had been thought of. It is in a perfect location for investigating and travelling round Cornwall. Would thoroughly recommend this cottage and we hope to be back soon!

This is honestly the sort of holiday you know deserves the most amazing reviews...but part of you wants to keep it a secret from others!
I can't put into words how wonderful this cottage is. Jean and Chris have thought of everything in order to create a cosy home from home. The cottage is super cosy, in an amazing location with stunning views from the main bedroom (not to mention the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in!) . If you're looking for a peaceful, relaxing base to explore Cornwall from you honestly can't go wrong here.
As if all of that isn't enough, their hospitality is second to none and we felt like we were leaving old friends by the time we left. We'll definitely be back!
