Enjoyed our stay! Lots of space for our group of 6 adults. The location was wonderful for everything we wanted to do. Lighting overall was too soft and could benefit from white lights in lieu of yellow. A postive experience and would stay again.

It is a beautiful property inside and out. The river runs several feet outside the door for a relaxing environment. We have people of all ages. Some prefer to sit outside and enjoy the outdoors close by. Our group also had hikers who love to find great hikes in the vicinity. The area offers good restaurants and fun shops. There is something for everyone. The house is roomy and people can find a nook away or hang out in the main room. Kitchen is nice for preparing family meals. It was a great time.

Very quaint mountain home perfect for multi-generation or large family groups. Lots of space to spread out. No one felt crowded. Very well stocked with extra blankets for chilly mountain air. Beautiful front porch with creek running right by makes for a wonderful place for morning coffee or evening wind down. Wide variety of games to reconnect without screens. Very close to downtown Idaho Springs for groceries or exploring. And a great launch-pad to Denver or other mountain vistas. Owners very responsive if needs arise.

My family has stayed here twice now and it's great! The house is well stocked with anything you might need. There's plenty of room for the whole family. The play room and outside playground mean the kiddos are entertained. The adults love the wood-burning fireplace. Less than 5 minutes from downtown. The heat is a little finnicky but we brought layers to sleep in and were fine. Phyllis is a great host!

We were overcome with emotion as we entered this cozy, well lived in and loved cabin! It reminded us so much of our own home, and Phyllis made us feel so welcomed!Our six grandchildren stayed in the bunk room upstairs, while all of the adults spread out in the downstairs – plenty of room!We are family who loves to cook, so the well laid out kitchen with many staples was so appreciated! We ate all our dinners at the amazing dining room table, which we could all sit around! The quaint town of Idaho Springs was a hit with all of us, and when we weren’t skiing, we were exploring the shops and restaurants in this special place. This home was located about 30 minutes from Loveland ski resort in just a mile from downtown Idaho Springs. Great location! Phyllis was so quick to respond to any questions or concerns that we had and really made us feel so comfortable in her family home. We would highly recommend this charming place for wonderful family togetherness!.

We were in Idaho Springs for a wedding. This home was convenient to the venue and town. It is a perfect home for extended family, especially if there are children! The toy room and TV/ game room were great for the kids. The kitchen was large and fully equipped. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. It is a great family house! Everyone enjoyed their time there. Phyllis was very responsive to inquiries before annd after the stay. Everything was so well communicated we never had to contact her during the stay! We were skiing in Loveland Ski Area, location of this cabin was perfect. The cabin itself was impeccably designed, blending modern comforts with rustic aesthetics seamlessly. The amenities provided exceeded our expectations. The cabin was spacious, we felt like at home. The well-equipped kitchen allowed us to whip up delicious meals, which we enjoyed. In conclusion, our stay at this beautiful cabin was nothing short of magical.

Has all you need for a getaway in the mountains, while being close to town and a wedding venue. Large dining room, ample kitchen, 2 car garage + outside parking, separate game/TV room, and large upstairs bunk room made it perfect for our stay. Did not use the rear patio & grill. A nice add would be an outdoor fire pit on front patio overlooking stream where a hose is available (just in case), but understand the hesitancy with fires in this region.

The property owner was very helpful and made the process easy. The kitchen was well stocked and the house was very clean. Having the toys and games for the younger kids was great. The reasons for a 4 star and not 5 was the following: 1. the absence of a tv room with comfortable seating, 2. the heating / cooling issue with the different areas, especially the upstairs being so hot, 3. the grass in the playground area needed to be cut down some, and 4. the house is very dark and interior lighting needs to be updated.

We absolutely loved our stay. The home was cozy, clean, well equipped and located central to all our sites. The home is within a mile to a grocery store. So really quick access for any forgotten items. We brought along two of our grandchildren, ages 8 and 9. They LOVED the playground on site. Our family loves to sit out at night and we really relaxed at the end of each day by sitting outdoors, drinking our coffee and listening to the creek nearby. We highly recommend anyone wanting a nice getaway to stay here. We loved it all!

This cabin was so lovely and had everything we needed and more. The beautiful creekside home was clean, beds were comfortable, and had plenty of room for everyone. There is a lovely hike behind the home that goes past the cemetery area and winds up with a great view of Idaho Springs. We had the trail to ourselves. The owner was super responsive. We had a great experience and already looking at our calendars for another visit.

Our family had a wonderful time in this house. There are lots of rooms and unexpected stairways that lead you to fun places. There are so many pictures and statues of animals, the grandkids and I went on an animal hunt to count how many we could find. The creek was beautiful to sit by. We had a lovely time!
