The RSPB sanctuary at Bempton Cliffs is just 1½ miles away, where you can take in views across to Flamborough Head.. 2 steps to entrance.

Bedroom 1: Kingsize (5ft) Bed
Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds
Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair. Games room with pool table (shared).. Fenced patio with garden furniture. Paddock and grounds with patio, garden furniture, BBQ and summer house (shared with other properties on-site). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is an unfenced pond in the grounds, 50 yards away.. Over 200 years old, these former farm buildings are steeped in history, and were once home to the German prisoners of war during World War ll, Copper House being their main residence. Lovingly converted and nestled adjacent to the owner’s home, with large grassed paddock and nature walks where visitors may glimpse sight of owls and badgers and enjoy the abundance of wildlife and countryside views, whilst children have lots of space to play. This perfect holiday location has something for all the family.
An ideal holiday location for exploring the East Yorkshire Coast with miles of award-winning beaches, all within 5 miles. The RSPB sanctuary at Bempton Cliffs, is just 1.5 miles away, where you can take in super views across to Flamborough Head whilst spotting the many rare bird species safely nesting. This is the second biggest RSPB centre and attracts many guests throughout the year. Scattered across the East Yorkshire Coast are many quaint villages with shops and inns in abundance. A 20-mile drive brings you to the North York Moors National Park, and the village of Goathland, better know as Aidensfield (Heartbeat’s very own village).
Historic houses nearby include Sledmere House and Burton Agnes Hall. Bridlington with sandy beaches, fun fair and indoor swimming pool is 10-minute drive. Scarborough with theatres, restaurants, shops and sandy beaches is a 20-minute drive. Golf locally. Beach 2 mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 500 yards.
Rockville Cottage (ref 24376) can be booked together with Copper House (ref 18435), The Milking Parlour (ref 18439), Shyre Stables (ref 18437) and Rockville Lodge (ref UK2503) to accommodate up to 18 guests.

Staying in this cottage over xmas was a magical time. I wouldn't hesitate to return to this property, the owners were very helpful yet did not bombard us.
