This fabulous, detached holiday home is located in the pretty coastal village of Marhamchurch on the edge of Bude, and provides unlimited high-speed broadband and easy access to the shops, facilities and beaches. Perfect for larger family groups and friends, the interior is light and spacious, with a large kitchen/breakfast room and delightful gardens in which to enjoy an alfresco supper. Or why not take a break from the cooking and enjoy an evening at the local village inn which is opposite the property. On a chilly evening, the cosy living room is the perfect spot in which to unwind and relax in front of the wood burner.
Just 2 miles from the wide golden sands of Widemouth Bay, famous for its excellent surfing. Bude, also 2 miles, has three more sandy beaches and a good selection of shops and restaurants, many specialising in locally caught seafood. There is also a golf course, tennis, horse riding, an indoor pool, surf schools and bowling. The picturesque fishing villages of Tintagel, Rock and Padstow are close by and the wild beauty of Dartmoor and Bodmin moors are within easy driving distance, as is the famous Eden Project. For family fun, the Big Sheep and Milky Way adventure parks are not to be missed, or visit the glorious North Cornish coast and its fantastic sandy beaches. Fishing and water sports available nearby. Beach 2½ miles. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant 20 yards.

Clean and spacious, well equipped given covid restrictions. Nice quiet location, near A38 and 5 mins to Bude. Friendly pub,but currently not doing food although take away vans there 3x a week. Well stocked village shop.
Only disappointment was size of rear garden for sitting out as back fence blocks the sunshine. Quick response to household fault via very pleasant next door neighbour.

We spent a lovely two weeks here with our children and the grandparents. The house was beautifully clean and spacious. Despite other reviews we found there was plenty of seating in the lounge! The photos don't do the house justice as its been redecorated throughout since the photos on the website were taken! Bathrooms a bit dated but fine. Very comfy beds and the kitchen etc. had everything we needed. BBQ also provided which we used a lot! Handy garage for storing beach stuff etc. Only downsides were the fridge freezer being in the garage, and the garden is a little on the small side (though still enough space to sit out and kids to play). No direct contact with the owners (entry by keybox) but the next-door neighbours were very friendly and helpful. Marhamchurch itself is a nice village with a pub and local shop selling basic provisions. Had a couple of lovely meals at The Wier (walking distance just out of the village). Bude and its beaches are only a 5-10 minute drive, and there are several local supermarkets. Great location to explore the rest of North Cornwall too, and plenty to do.
