Visit Blakeney, with its trips to see the seals, and for traditional seaside fun, there is bustling Hunstanton, with its wide sandy beach, traditional seaside amusements and Sealife Centre. Also on the doorstep are lots of National Trust properties and Holkham Hall, which holds many events throughout the year. The market town of Fakenham, with its horse racing, is also close by, as is Pensthore Nature Reserve. A little further afield is the seaside town of Cromer, with its famous pier, and the market town of Sheringham, along with numerous Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and opportunities for walks and birdwatching. We had a great stay, the bungalow was well equipped the beds were very comfortable and both bathrooms excellent. The central heating which we definitely needed due to snow while staying there was brilliant the thermostat was straight forward to turn up and down and plenty of hot water as it was a combi boiler just perfect. Nice touch with the bottle of wine and biscuits on arrival and some dishwasher tablets etc a nice touch. Throughly recommended this property.

Comfortable, well equipped bungalow with excellent bed and showers. All you need in kitchen, great dining table. Near to centre of Wells and Harbour but also easy to get out and about in the area. Warm and cosy and owner stressed to use heating when weather very cold. Welcome pack. It's the time of year when the odd mark on rug and walls is expected and no doubt will be sorted in spring. We had to contact owner twice for maintenance (one time due to storm) and both times repair was same day as we said handyman could use key safe.Only improvement would be instructions for lightweight vacuum which was excellent for crumbs, etc but so difficult to empty without making a mess.Thank you for a great stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our second visit to the Coastal Hideout. It is well situated in Wells and a great location for exploring the many attractive places in and around the North Norfolk coastline. We visited Walsingham, West Runton, Cley Next The Sea, Blakeney, Holkham Beach, Titchwell Marsh, Hunstanton, and even had time to play golf in Fakenham and Swaffham! Last year we visited Sandringham and Cromer. The property is well equipped and communications with the owner, Sarah, were good. The welcome bottle of wine and shortbread biscuits were much appreciated. The Crab House and French’s fish and chip shop are recommended when eating out.
